i see where your going with that and i do agree that going with friends does make it enjoyable however that can't always be the case and then the game does decline quickly due to players and gameplay, especially since it is limited compared to previous rockstar games. |

Yeah going for the throat on this one, micro-transactions. So like I said on the GTA V Online poll, I have made a thread regarding micro-transactions, More things like these will follow.
So where to start, well first I wanna see discussion about this below, so anyway Micro-transactions... For anyone who doesn't know micro-transactions are things in games that u need to pay for to unlock, so like... BF4 unlock packs. You pay money to access small parts of the game (Not like DLC trust me that will be it's own thread). But these things make games unbalanced and honestly are just cheap ways to squeeze money out of stupid players... But it works... It does people pay money and they get the bigger gun... the faster car... high level abilities... basically people who play games these days... well the odds aren't with them. So. What do you guys think about them, whether we need them in games, exceptions to this, maybe even reasons why they NEED to be there. Either way I look forward to this discussion

ok good to see people agree so far and having the same points i do, but yh in response to Nicole, first yeah i will make a thing about DLC at a later date, that is a whole different conversation and i agree that it has made games focus on wringing money out of people rather than, oh i don't know. actual gameplay i mean this is done on purpose make earning money/coins or whatever so slow that buying the money seems like the better option.
And Taryn, I completely agree there too there were times before online play got big and everyone got obsessed with the X value that represents their level and the Y value that is there money and the X:Y ratio that shows how many players you have killed and it was good, games had effort put into them and it was fun. |

Sex: Male Age: 21 Race: Human Height: 6'6" Appearance: Slightly tan skin, Light brown Medium length straight hair, Dark brown eyes, Slim build Occupation: Space Outlaw/Thief Power Type: Stealth Field Apparel: Black jeans, Black short sleeve shirt, White and blue boots, One black fingerless glove on right hand, Black leather duster coat, Exoskeletal arm under right sleeve on arm. Abilities: Increased Stealth, Silence (Ability to not make any noise), Imbued Silence (Ability to make other objects/beings silent) Skills: Affinity with technology/gadgets, Tinkering, Hacking (In General), Firearm use, Door/Terminal Hacking, Unarmed combat. Weapons/Tools/Items (At start): One blue and one white Laser Revolvers, (crudely painted their colours) Hacking gear, Dimension Teleporter, Bag of stolen gems (Shaped like rupees from LOZ but are actual gems), Limited Energy Cells for laser revolvers. Backstory: Ech0 originates from Sapphyre's dimension, however does not possess magic, but set 45-ish years later where Sapphyre developed all of the tech that is used at the time. e.g. laser revolvers. Ech0 had an affinity with technology and things that didn't belong to him and the was a lot of tech in the future... and things that didn't belong to him. So he quickly learned to get through security systems and get things he wanted. Started off small, clothing, components, music. But that quickly escalated to things like, money, access codes, information. A lot of money was made, not enough for him to get caught but enough to live. Ech0 learned various ways of keeping quiet and unseen as well as making small gadgets he needed and a device that allows him to be silent and imbue silence, which is an exoskeletal arm he wears over his right arm. (Below the clothing of course). He also acquired his two laser revolvers which he named 1 and 2, giving anyone who found him the ol' 1, 2. 1 being a shot from the Blue revolver, 2 being a shot from the White revolver. But he couldn't run forever, midway through developing his new gadget: The "Dimensional Teleporter", patent pending. Enforcers broke into his apartment and opened fire. In this situation Ech0 did what any sane thief would do... Grab as much stolen loot (bag of gems) as he could, his revolvers plus a few energy cells for them, his hacking device, and the Dimensional Teleporter, and hope it works before he got shot. |

A portal opens in the middle of the field near the tavern and Ech0 jumps out backwards firing into it, followed by laser shots from the portal, one of which hits the tavern's sign creating a charred hole straight through it and knocking it down. The portal closes as he lands.
Ech0 gets up. "Well that was close... so I have everything?" He checks around his pockets. "Revolvers... Energy cells... gems... Hacking gear... Teleporter? ah here it is." He looks back at where portal was. "Ha! Suck it enforcers I'm still alive" looks around and sees the charred sign on the floor and picks it up. "Ah... Let's hope I don't have to pay for this..." He walks into the tavern "Okay! I hope no-one was using this." He holds up the sign a little "Because it's kinda burned and also not attached to this place anymore either. Not directly my fault. But I was being shot at which caused the sign to be hit so... interpret that how you will." Notices the people currently in the tavern "Surprisingly not the weirdest group I've seen before..." Ech0 walks up to a table and sits on one of the chairs. "Sooooooo..." Ech0 puts his feet on the table "What have I missed? Also can I get a drink?... And do I need to pay for the sign?" |
