"That's the thing!" Zarik says as he rushes ahead and lobs his shield at the frontmost gremlin, "I don't know what to expect either!"
The shield comically bounces off of the first gremlin's face and ricochets off, bouncing off the next one's face, then into the wall, and back to Zarik. Rushing into the center of the ring of attentive gremlins, he leaps and slams his sword into the ground. Taking a quick count of the enemies, he calls out, "Let's see how you five dance in my --Circle of Scorn--!" "It appears as though Zarik will have none of your planning." Zissou says with an annoyed tone, "But I suppose I shall play along whether he wants to or not." While performing the necessary somatic gestures involved in dropping another Shadow Flare circle, centered on Zarik. "Good thing that shit like this can't hurt me, old man." Zarik quips, noting the lack of friendly fire. |

I have finally done it!
Aren's turn! That glamour looks way more badass than my white mage skill should be allowed to look. |

Frogs or toads?
They're both cool. I don't have much preference either way. If you were designing a giant fighting robot for the next Pacific Rim movie, what would you call it? Having no idea at all at the premise of Pacific Rim, I have no idea if this is appropriate or not: Smashy McCrusherfuck MMXVII |

The fireballs rain from above Zarik and explode as they make their mark. One of the gremlins dies outright from the attack while the others are injured. The slashed and bashed gremlins succumb quickly to the onslaught while the booted one mere tumbles back and hits the wall, dazed. The final one leaps onto Zarik's shield as he holds it aloft to ward off the fires. The three felled monsters turn into black wisps of aether as opposed to ashen books like the previous monsters.
Before the gremlin standing on his shield gets much time to reach, Zarik heaves it into the air and calls out, "Hup hup! Batter up, big guy!" as he sends it flying in Moxley's direction. Zissou claims the dazed gremlin with a quickened Ruin spell, then gestures to Selene to tend to Zarik. |

The gremlin's head splits open from the force of the bat striking it, spewing viscera all over the room. The limp, lifeless body lands mere inches away from Bel with a comical thud, followed by a puff of returning to the aether.
"Home run!"" Zarik cheers, then sets to work finding the switch to disable the magical barrier on their path forward. His mood noticeably happier due to the expedience of the battle. Zissou closes his eyes, sighs, and shakes his head. Taking a moment to regain composure, he wordlessly sets to helping Zarik find the key to the passage. |

Why the drop in activity, Trump to blame?
FFXIV, work, and sleep. I couldn't possibly care less about the joker on capitol hill. |

"Whether you'd get 'em to say anything is another story though," Zarik says as he rummages through the books on one of the tables on the southern side of the room. "No telling if any of these monsters speak our common language."
"Aye." Zissou says as he does the same on the northern tables. "And holding one of the demons under duress will do us little good as well. They may be material in this realm, but their mortality is not tied to their presence here." |

How many RPGs do you play Zarik in?
Primarily FFXIV, but if there's a game where I'm already using Trelior, or just don't feel like it, I use Zarik for a name. What's the best GameCube RPG? My experience with the Gamecube is limited at best, but I'm really fond of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. |

Best Super Mario World hack ever?
You'd think I would have a good answer for this since raocow is one of the LPers I watch the most often. That's a tough choice. |

Are there any reasonable Super Mario Bros. or Ypshi's Island Hacks?
If they exist,. I have yet to see any. They're all elitist shit shows that expect thorough knowledge of glitches from what I've seen. Are there any reasonable Super Mario Sunshine Hacks? As a plebeian who didn't enjoy the original Sunshine, I doubt I can fairly judge them. Ever played the e-Reader levels for SMB3 Advance? I played maybe one or two of them. I actually owned an e-Reader, but I didn't have the full SMA4 set. |

Best Pokémon hack (Generation I or II)?
The only Pokemon hack I've played is Pokemon Bronze. It was pretty shit. The guy that made it didn't understand game balance. ... any reasonable Yoshi's Island DS Hacks? I hated Yoshi's Island DS, so I wouldn't know. |

why do you hate it?
I hated the baby swapping mechanics. It was damn near impossible to 100% levels on a first blush because you didn't know what baby you needed right away. Plus, there were a few levels early on that required revisits with babies you unlocked later. Add in it had the scoring system of OG Yohi's Island where you needed to get everything in one run, as opposed to Woolly World's system of "Just find what you missed and re-clear the level" Favorite TV show? Probably Rick and Morty. Although Archer and Bob's Burgers (which I'm a few seasons behind on both) are pretty good too. |

"Who says anything is behind this aside from a guardian pissed off that its ward is compromised?" Zarik says, digging through more books, "This place was sealed off when the Sharlayans were forced out for a reason."
"The Garlean Empire invaded and were, and still are, seeking information pertaining to the Allagan Empire of antiquity." Zissou preemptively explains, "There is a long, arduous, tale behind the Garlean machinations that I feel we lack time to explain in detail." Getting fed up with trying to find the book with the seal, Zarik rushes over to the door and begins pouring focued aether into it. A white light emits from his hand as he concentrates, causing the door to glow and radiate a soft light in response. After a moment of glowing, the door shines brightly before quietly dissipating. On the other side of the door, it opens to a decently wide pathway with guiding rails on the northern and southern edges. Looking out over either edge would reveal open air into a large hall with bookshelves as far as the eye can see. In the center of this pathway is a large, upright open-standing book with a grotesque demon's head sticking out from the spine between the pages. Zarik shakes his head and says, "Figures this bastard would be here." Readying his weapons, he says, "Which version is he this time?" |

"HA!" Zarik laughs as he rushes forward and throws his shield at the demon's head, "Let's find out what you're gonna do, ya ugly fucker!"
As the shield ricochets off the demon's paper-esque face, it lets out a roar and steps out of the book. Its body is rather bulky with big, strong looking limbs and a large screw-like tail. "Ah, the demon of the tome." Zissou says as he prepares the shield the party with Succor. |

Bels fireball hurtles toward the demon, zipping past Zarik in the process. Upon making contact, it explodes violently. Not long after, Moxley's javelins fly forth into the smoke. Despite expectations of the javelins making purchase in the demon's chartaceous flesh, they are heard clattering harmlessly to the floor. However, before the party could prematurely celebrate victory; the smoke clears, revealing an angry demon with only slight singeing. It roars defiantly at the group, then an omnious shadow appears above Bel's immediate area.
"Heads up!" Zarik shouts as he tackles the demon and attempts to stab it with his sword. Zissou focuses and drops his circular puddle of black fire as he has done several time past. "Hopefully this will prove more effective." The demon wastes no time in trying to rid itself of Zarik's irritation by taking a swing at the knight. Its back hand swing connects and knocks the Miqo'te away, off of his feet, and into the southern railing. |

Own any of those Funko Pop things?
Nope. Of all the worthless shit I spend my money on, those doofy bobble heads aren't part of it. In fact, I've yet to see one I think is worth spending the money on. If they do an FFXIV line, I'd snap up a Hildibrand Manderville and Nashu Mhakaracca figure if they did them. Hildy's the Highlander on the left and Nashu is the Keeper of the Moon on the right. |

The source of the shadow above Bel's now-vacated location lands. It was a rather large book that hits the floor with a rather loud and weighty WHUMP! The demon then stomps toward Zarik in an attempt to seize the opportunity to put a hurting on him.
"It is fully corporeal, Moxley." Zissou says as he charges a healing spell, "It appears as if it must have merely knocked your javelins out of the air." With a somatic gesture, he calls out, "May the light of purity bring you succor! --Lustrate!--" Zarik begins to glow for a moment as some of the damage from being shunted into the railing is cleansed away. Zarik grabs his head momentarily, then shakes his dizziness away. Looking up, he spots the hulking mass of pages trudging his direction. Grabbing his weapons, he performs a sloppy somersault roll toward the rest of the group and uncoils unceremoniously at Moxley's feet. With expected gruffness in his voice, Zarik groans, "Ugh... Gonna feel that in the morning..." then he just lays still. |

OK, what is your title referencing now?
Different lyrics and a title drop of the same song as last time. |

Who would you rather play baseball with: Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Margot Robbie?
Whichever allows me to just sit on the sidelines. I'm fat and lazy. Worst song you ever listened to? Anything by Taylor Swift or uses heavy auto-tune. |

F, Marry, Kill: Lzzy Hale, Sasha Banks, and Margot Robbie
I don't know anything about any of these three women. Not really sure which would be preferable in any of these situations. |
