Keeping up with the grind in FFXIV.
Leveling-wise, I have Warrior at 63 and Astrologian at 51. Relic/anima-wise: I finished Ragnarok Zeta a few days ago and drug my feet on starting toward Minos. Having finally started Minos off, I skipped straight from Parashu Animated (i170 steip) straight to Sharpened Axe of the Blood Emperor (i260 step) aaaand he's at a road block, right along with Sharpened Guillotine of the Tyrant (same step, but for Dark Knight). Why am I stuck there? Because you can't have two weapons on the same progression step, and my Sharpened Sword and Shield of the Twin Thegns is sitting at about 65% completion toward becoming Aettir and Priwen. Once I finish Aettir/Priwen, I can basically skip them stright to their Lux version since it's just a single run through all of the hard mode primals from Ifrit to Zurvan. Quick and easy since the three waiting animas are alll for the tank jobs. After I get Astrologian to 60, I'm gonna grind out the luminous crystals for both it and Machinist since FATE grinding as a healer is gonna be a ton easier than doing it as a DPS I suck with (never mind the fact that it's still sitting at 30). Then I'm gonna get it to its 260 step in equally short order since it's "Oh, go get the thing" from the Animated step, and queues it behind the tanks. This grind suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Although, it is keeping me invested in the game. Overall levels thus far: Tanks Paladin 70 Dark Knight 70 Warrior 63 Healers Astrologian 51 Scholar 43 White Mage 37 DPS Black Mage 70 Summoner 43 (shares [Arcanist] with Scholar, so they level together) Bard 34 Lancer 24 Pugilist 19 Rogue 17 Machinist 30 Samurai 50 Red Mage 50 Jopbs listed by level. MCH, SAM, and RDM listed lower despite being higher levels is because they unlock at that level, and I listed them in the order they were added to the game since they're effectively level 1. |

I haven't bought any new cards since Scars of Mirrodin was coming to a close.
Even then, I only played Modern format. I tweaked the old Persist deck a few times, and it's only missing a few key cards to be perfect. If I could get my hands on two copies of Damnation, I could take the white out of it and the deck would run more smoothly. |

What exactly are your thoughts on the fans of the show right now, and the sort of hatebase that's formed for Rick and Morty in recent times?
If you ignore the Jerrys in the fan base (or ignore the fan base entirely), the show is still pretty good. What is objectively the best song recorded by Prince? Can't say I was all too familiar with his work. That goes for before and after he died. Are you running for president? I won't be old enough to do so until 2024. Even then, no. Fuck politics. All of it. It's a farce. Out of all the users on this board, which one has the most similar personality to me? You ask me that as if I pay attention to anything outside of, like, three threads. |

Tetris or Breakout?
That's a tough one. But I'd have to say Tetris since it's a quicker go-to on my NES emulator. Yes, there's Arkanoid, but I suck at it. Favorite FPS? Not applicable. If I have to chose one. Probably Borderlands. What Genre does your life fit into, you’d say? The "No one would want to watch this shit" genre. |

Williams or Atari arcade games from the early 80s?
Can't say I have an opinion. I wasn't much of an arcade-goer. By the time I was old enough to be "unsupervised" for an arcade, they were all but completely gone. Opinions on the Midway company? From the few games of theirs I played, I don't hate them. Opinions on Neoclassical consoles? Like the (S)NES classic? Worthless to a savvy emulator user like myself. Nifty for the less-savvy enthusiast, I suppose. Thinking of streaming again sometime? I was hoping to get back to it soon, but I've been so stressed and tired from work, I don't have it in me at the moment. |

Savvy Nintendoers use Dolphin/DraStic, right?
I use my Wii to run Gamecube ISOs. How good can your computer emulate PS2, Wii or Xbox? I use the Wii for its own thing (even hacked the Wuu too), hvaen't tried PS2 emulations, and I don't even care about anything Xbox-related. Yes. I'm still salty over their E3 presentation for the Xbone. Fuck Micro$oft. Favorite video game weapon? Since I play a ton of RPGs, can't go wrong with swords. Hell, my new main in FFXIV uses fucking claymore greatswords. S'great. I even have my tank glamour set as Cloud from FFVII since the veteran reward change in patch 4.1 gave me all but one tier of the old veteran rewards (which I bought with my achievement tokens immediately). It's kinda old, but this is a screenshot I took after finishing the 210 step of my anima for the job. Nothung is the sword's name. Went great with the Link glamour.  |

Much better than this time last year. Comcast in town Brookville is much better than Windstream in the middle of the woods. I can stream on this bandwidth. Shame I don't have the energy for it anymore. |

Libertarian or Communist?
Libertarian, at its face definition. I say that because it's getting warped into something it really ought to not be. But what isn't these days? Am I right? I'm all for the free market. In fact, I greatly embrace capitalism. And it may seem hypocritical of me to be critical of the welfare state, while myself receiving government health and financial assistance from the government (low income and moderate disability), but it's getting out of hand. Those of us like my roommate and myself receive $50 combined EBT in food stamps and cash assistance, while I personally know of many cases of people abusing the system by pumping out kids for the sole purpose of milking the government for money. Communism is far worse than the morons advocating for it seem to understand. Funny how most of the people I used to respect in high school have turned into the mindless drones that spout shit that basically boils down to the below picture and espousing the greatness of "what real communism is" while ignoring the fact that Stalin and his ilk were worse than the Nazis in terms of body count. 
Enough politics. I don't like talking about it, there's Liberalism vs. Conservatism for a more elaborate basis of my political stance. Any further questions of the political ilk will be ignored. |

Why request help, when you could embrace the sea of pink?
Because despite easily being able to play along. (I like female mod's purple and I have a female name I like using for role playing and other gaming). I find it weird that setting your board gender to female is becoming trendy. I have other opinions on the topic as well, but I'd rather not open a can of worms that I'm not in the frame of mind to deal with right now. |
