Firefox and its forks are a big mess, but at least it's not Chromium. I usually stick to standard Firefox with necessary extensions or forks like Waterfox.

February has always been my month of misfortune, besides this year.

I actually like September thru December the most out of all the months. Even with the fall seasons being associated with the return of school, it doesn't really start wearing me down much until around February.

i like what i've seen from mastodon, but since freedom has low demand in the bigger picture of the social media machine, the big proprietary shit that tracks you and is closed source and all that isn't going anywhere.

Pale Moon, with uMatrix to block everything ever. Once things are configured it all works well, and I can feel a bit more relieved than with Firefox. Firefox is corporate disguised as privacy-friendly.

Winaero Tweaker is a good interface for a ton of registry mods, but it's easy to destroy your system in the process. It's closed source, though.

I spent a long time looking for a way to make Windows 10 look exactly like the Windows classic theme (pre-XP, anyway) and I guess it exists. It looks clunky but there's the link if you're interested in making everything grey and pixelated as god intended.

EDIT: After testing this on 1809 I can confirm this will destroy everything.
EDIT2: Don't use this. It's not malicious, it just breaks file explorer and metro settings. It's really interesting though, and worth testing in a VM if you want to see how Microsoft hides things but doesn't remove them.

What was the most frustrating Pokémon game? Probably for me it was Pokémon TCG for Game Boy (I quit on it a few years ago because of a broken RNG and bad luck)

Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum when you start getting into the later game and everything is ten levels higher than you all of a sudden. The same thing happens in gen 3, I think.

Pokémon Let's Go was largely just them playing it safe by creating a vapid Pokémon game to get started with the series' migration to the Switch. I played through it and enjoyed it, but recognized that it's barely a main-series game.

After all of this years, I have finally caught Pikachu.

10 years ago, I was moving from California to Washington, where I would grow and experience many awful times. Dysphoria, divorce, all that good stuff. 10 years later, I'm moving to a different state for a hopefully better to future. Summer to summer. Here's to the next decade

Terminal browsers are mostly a novelty but they're useful when installing a Linux distro with no GUI and you need to grab something from the web.

Then there's qutebrowser, which controls like a terminal browser but isn't one. fun things
