Today, for about 10 minutes, it rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock. Thunder everywhere too; kinda hoped that power would go out so I could go the fuck home. |

I'm actually part of the X360 public beta and have the new dashboard update with windows explorer on it. it works really nicely and is pretty damn quick for a console, surprisingly. Thank goodness for this controller chatpad. |

There was once a time that I had a cat named Spadge. This was even before the days of Worms. Spadge didn't last very long in our household... he ran outside and met the buick next door. Things moved too fast for Spadge. |

I'm not talking about age/capability, I'm talking about how shitty in general that laptop is. It's practically frankenstein'd together... |

I think the choices are... Lackluster. I almost want to vote for Phantasy Star just because it's Phantasy Star. But, the song is not really that great. Going with Goof Troop, even though that song isn't much better...
Should we include two sets of songs instead of just one? Might speed things along just a bit... |

I might be moving soon. Another note on the fridge showed up. Here's the note, along with my reply. Told my landlord that it's either me or him that's moving out.I can't believe you claim to have logic and tell me I don't have any. Whatever logic you think you have is definitely not of Webster's definition. Are you seriously trying to tell me that you know I don't like you and then wonder why the fuck I want to attack you? Are you seriously that slow? |

What the hell? I only take my phone out to show her something or check the time or something like that, nothing else goes on. Texting some OTHER guy she likes? Might as well just piss on your foot.
Don't mean to make you feel bad but that's the truth... Go for someone else or just bring it up to her. |

Where do you work right now? Also, where have you worked in the past?
I've worked at tons of other jobs and trades but apparently I've got a knack for talking to people so about 5-6 years of my working days have been spent in retail. I work at a closeout store called Big Lots. I have no complaints with it, except it being, you know, retail. |

Learned a couple days ago that my yearly salary could almost triple due to a job opening with my girlfriend's father. Not only am I excited about that, I am excited to learn that her father doesn't want to put a shotgun to my head. |

![]() Some of you may have heard this idea in IRC, but decided to go make a thread for it. And with it, a logo! What is Galoob Roulette? Well, Galoob was the maker of the Game Genie way back in the day, and allowed you to enter codes that modified memory of the game that was connected to them. (Duh.) And let's be honest, we've all seen "Let's Play's" before, and I've been itching to give it a try. But what was I going to do to keep it from being just another LP? After some thought, I came up with the idea after watching some people play Super Metroid Bingo (where you fulfil requirements during your run-through to make a row on the card) and BAM, idea was born. The idea is to take a random Game Genie code, not knowing what it does, and play through the game with it. The method of choosing one hasn't really been decided; I suppose I could just put them all in a hat and choose one. Those of you who submit codes should not say what they do unless you want to use the comment HTML tag:
Format does not matter. If you think two codes go well together, you can submit them as a single code with a + in the middle, like so: XXXXXX+XXXXXX The type of code does matter, though. I don't want anything that can easily break the game. If I have to, I will use save states if the code is known to be unstable at times. I want codes that take me out of my comfort zone. Physics, level alteration, game behavior, sprite alteration, control alteration are all great code types to submit. I want codes that would make a normal LP of a well-known game interesting to watch. So, what do you think? Good idea? Let's see your codes! I think I'm going to start with SMB3, unless any of you have any requests for me! |

Yeah, I was going to use SMB3 as a starter, to test the waters. I'd like to have someone to talk to alongside me, because I'm honestly not that interesting by myself. When I get this thang started, I'll give you a ring.
So what is your LP setup? I've got basically no problems with resources now that I've got this new machine. Do you record a certain screen area while recording a skype convo as the narration? Naturally, to make this work, I'd have to stream it as I record... yeah? |

I already have Fraps but I will check out Camtasia. Seems like the most logical place to go, Fraps just doesn't have the bells and whistles that I want but it will do in absence of something better.
So Marzen, when should we do this thing? Today might be cool once I can get it all set up and skype downloaded. Also, anyone else have any interesting GG codes they would like to see used? |

Well, I got my stream running on Twitch. http://www.twitch.tv/kp9001/b/334115785
Probably going to just use this and xsplit. Works fine. (Excuse the loud humming, there was a feedback loop and I eliminated it.) I think I'm actually ready to start this series. |
