Average human reaction time seems to be on the order of 200ms, so, (100ms connection latency + 100ms travel distance + 200ms noticing/reaction) * (IRC + posting) = 820ms, round up to 1 second as a theoretical best case, possibly even higher, taking into other factors like the computer itself? So you're probably quite close to the ideal there. |

♥5955 ✿4735 ★68 Lunch today was the unorthodox combination of sliced bell peppers and ice cream (separately, of course- I'm not that crazy), and dinner was boiled corned beef and potatoes- in theory there was cabbage but for the most part it just totally fell apart and became intermixed with everything else. |
