Hm.. Silicon Valley, especially throughout its first two seasons, was easily the funniest show I've ever watched. As for more serious drama...eh. I know it's kind of a cliché answer but Breaking Bad really was pretty much perfect. I also really loved Lost as well and over time grew to look past everything about it that I disliked when I first saw it.
Requiem for a Dream, because while most people take it at face value as an "anti-drug" film, it's undoubtedly the most powerful film about being unable to let go of things that ultimately don't matter that I've ever seen. I've seen many movies that people have said deeply emotionally affected them, but this was one of the few I've ever seen that made me feel something (even if it's a little dark and disturbing). Also Titanic, because I don't care what most people say, it's a darn fantastic film with a darn fantastic soundtrack. ____________________ "No, he doesn't row."
