I'm not surprised they decanonized the Extended Universe, it would have limited quite a bit what they could do ("oh, we know that character will be fine, because he doesn't die until later"), after all.

Have you ever scraped your knee on the cement or asphalt?

In fact I have a large scar on my left knee from a fall in childhood that heavily cut it open (possibly to the point of seeing bone) and yet we just used band-aids over it and didn't see a doctor or anything. But it wasn't, technically, on cement or asphalt.

I do believe I scraped my knee on an asphalt sidewalk once back when I used to bicycle, though.
