The weather is just staying in this really annoying 40s-50s bubble... just tormenting me, I imagine when it does get warm it'll shoot up to 90 and be way too hot.

Perhaps it's more than I just make too few.

I still use AIM- there's two or three people I regularly talk to on there. (Actually, exactly three)

Other than that, Facebook chat for people I know IRL (in the same client I use AIM), IRC and Twitter for everyone else. (Well Twitter's just a general mix)

I was looking at a map of my hometown, when I noticed a strange area marked as "unexplored" around a lake in the northeast labeled "Lake Lake". I was surprised that there were any unexplored regions since the town was settled in the 1600s, but then I realized that America probably has lots of unexplored territory since it's so big. (dream logic I guess)

So I find a new map that's like super huge (like, my room is too small to unfold the whole thing in) and detailed- the weird thing is that it shows a lot of settlements and streets and stuff around the lake I've never heard of. So I'm starting to wonder what's going on, so I decide to contact the author of the map.

The author of the map comes over. She's dressed in Japanese lolita fashion and is apparently an aficionado of it; her assistant, an older and scrawny man, says that this is all she wears. She's completely crazy, and just starts ranting about maps and never answers my question. She says she needs more drawing supplies, so Mary and I go with her in Mary's car... but at some point Mary needs to stop and get out, and the cartographer and her assistant steal her car with me in it.

I haven't done it in awhile, but I think when I did I was generally trying to show off something I cooked and though I did a good job at Which doesn't seem unreasonable.

Restaurants are a different story, except if there's something significantly noteworthy about the meal that's worth posting.

For quite some time, including now, my avatar has frequently been Nei from Phantasy Star II- this particular image comes from a Japanese fancomic.

Normally I would point out that Nei isn't a catgirl, but recent conversations are convincing me that she may very well be one.
