What's "pencil dive" supposed to mean?

I thought it was a commonly known thing- you jump into the water holding your body straight but hit feet-first at a 90 degree angle to the water; when done right there is very little splashing and you slip into the water like a dive, but it's much easier than a true head-first dive. :P

It's annoying when people want you to be in family pictures.

It's kind of comical in pictures in my parent's house, as I get older there are fewer and fewer pictures of me around >_> (because I was able to get away with saying no to being photographed)

I honestly wouldn't be able to live in such an apartment. I can't stand the noise.

Even here, where the walls are thick, I can hear the neighbors around me. It was so much better on vacation, where it was actually quiet in the bedroom, and I mean completely quiet, no noise at all. I slept so well...

This is the first time this has happened- my fear is that this is the result of the last tenant moving out and a new one coming in* and this will be the case every night now >_>
