Physics teacher in San Francisco, perhaps? Doesn't sound terrifying to me when I think about finding a job in Seattle or Portland, Oregon given that companies like Boeing, Microsoft, and Nintendo are nearby.

One thing I have come to the conclusion of is that I never want to teach again.

I don't have an issue when I sign on from another computer; is it only between different IPs? (all my home computers are the same IP)

Yeah, the default login cookie is set such that if your IP changes too much, it will refuse to work. I can imagine scenarios where it would help with security, but I personally don't think it does much.

Java wins bonus points for cross-platform compatibility by standard. Code in another language, go compile a load of various versions. Oh. Then each one might need code tweaks specific to each OS you compile for..

So Java has another advantage going for it there.

Picked up Super Mario 3D World again lately; also trying to finish off the star coin collection in New Super Mario Bros. 2. (the latter mostly because I moved my 3DS charging dock to sit on my desk, so now it's very easy to just pick up and play a level)
