Yeah, I couldn't do it alone either. But I think if we get enough people gathered up we can make something of it. Problem is, the money raised/saved to meet up would have to be worth more than the goal we set or else it's a moot point...

Do what you can as long as you aren't breaking the rules of the places you're going to. Usually PMing others about other places is considered spam. However, you could put a Kafuka banner in your signature.

As for what's on my mind? I lost my job on Saturday. I was told that my boss was worries about my temper... I had never before had a problem with temper. I have worked closely with those that say I've never had a problem. I've been visibly pissed at times, which, mind you, is within human nature. So even with the defense I had I was still let go... I've been looking for more jobs since then and have already scored an interview. We'll see how this goes.

I dunno; some people might actually not be interested in waking up but more in fiercely shitting their pants.

KP are you having an identity crisis now?!
I forgot where I was. (I thought this was a general forum thread. :P)

Let me ask two questions to make up for it then.

What is your dream job?

Funniest thing you've ever seen IRL?

If it's simply wanting to be a force not to be reckoned with, why not try working out? You can gain lean muscle that way and 9999 times out of 10000 it's more healthy. If you can't seem to gain weight in the way of just pure fat then maybe you've gotta look at it another way.

Physical attraction is a funny thing. For you, it's fundamentally different than most, which is why you don't see it in society much, if at all. Some people like piss and shit and dismemberment and other sick stuff like that. For example, I'm somewhat attracted to "puffy" women; not fat but not skinny. Wanting to eat has nothing to do with physical attraction. Correlation doesn't mean causation.

If there's anything I have to say against the idea of being 400lbs, please understand it has nothing to do with how "ugly" or "shameful" the idea might seem to some, but mostly because it's super unhealthy. Everyone I've ever known that was heavyset has had some or several symptoms directly linked to such builds and I wouldn't want that on anyone. Consider health insurance, undesired side effects, and how these things may affect your future for better or worse. That's why I suggest gaining weight at the gym especially if you've had problems in the past gaining weight using other methods.

Hope this helps. We love you always, Lili~ ♥!

Eh? Just the best for you?

I already live in a 100 Mbit world. I beat you to it. (Although I don't use fiber but the good old TV cable)
If I only lived about 20 miles south, I'd have Google Fiber. Can't wait for that to get here in my area. :D

Nicole is too lazy. The sofa is so much more comfy.

Seriously, how does she stay thin with a lifestyle like that?
Probably the same way I can stay lazy and drink molten chocolate and not gain a pound.

No, I think it's a combination of 1) people want that board dead, so he'll keep it open just to spite them (mainly xkeeper) and 2) ROM hacking forums have quite a bit of data on them and people still tend to use it. What little activity there is there is quite fragile so even closing down and redirecting users somewhere else, even with the archives available, still puts that userbase at great risk of never returning again.

So this project I'm actually going to finish.

What is it?

Let's call it a PGE for now. Stands for Portable Gaming Environment. This will allow you to carry your console in a case wherever you need to be. It's not a handheld, no, but it'll allow you to have some fun in places you normally wouldn't be able to. Going to one of the next-gen console launches and waiting in line? Take this sucker with you. Plug it into the wall. If you can't do that, plug it into a spare car battery. A car power inverter is built in! Take it with you on road trips for your passengers! Bring it to parties and friends' houses and brag a lil bit!

It's got a 23.8" 1080p monitor with speakers and headphone input, coupled with a 410w power inverter for 12v power sources. It'll have a padded place to put your console, strap it in, and store accessories.

It's a work in progress, but once I get the last bit of hardware I can continue with the rest of it.

Click on any of these to blow them up.

I've got to put clear coats on these but I'm waiting for the last bit of hardware. The last pic shows the power box area. It'll be hinged so you can open it up to access it. That's where the power inverter goes for +12v and the receptacle for 110v AC. The slots are vents for the fan that will go in that circle there. It's a bit dusty because it hasn't been wiped down. It's much cleaner now and once the clear coats go on I'll update the thread.

I'm going to make another version of the banner for layouts in other boards. You're free to use whichever one you want though. Stay tuned, I'll post it somewhere...

For this idea to come to fruition though, I had to break down and buy quite a sum of money's worth of tools.

- Palm Sander $30
- Table Saw $200
- Router $60
- Routing Table $140
- Router bit set $60

Plus all of the supplies, hardware, and equipment.

- Display $150
- Hardware $60
- Power Inverter $40
- Power Cables $10
- Car lighter socket (male and female) $25
- Lumber $70
- Stain/Polyurethane $30

So as you can see, quite a lot has gone into all of this. Almost $900 worth. I can't fathom how I even have enough for all my bills AND an Xbox One still despite having lost my job. (No worries, income is still solid, got another job!)

It's an investment, and I think I could build and sell these on the side.

Does being a pirate count as being an outlaw?
Well, pirates don't generally follow the law. Secondly, you just asked Nicole a question. That makes you an outlaw, even if you're the pope. :P

Also, since I don't give a shit whether or not I'm an outlaw, I'll ask Nicole a question. What do you think about the possibility for life on other planets?

Googie, it sucks, but someone already thought of it. Granted, they don't have that hand-crafted, custom, antique look mine does. They also don't have the 23.8" 1080p LED screen mine does either.

Now I'm finished with my project! I am waiting on the custom console straps I ordered, so I can buckle the console in while I transport it.

Yeah, it's moderately heavy. But, convenience is a very large factor here. In any normal circumstance, a user would have to find a display and hook it up. That'd tie up the display, which might not be possible in some situations. The user would also be limited to that area. In the end, once the user has the PGE where they want it, they can game all they want.

I admit it might not be as practical to some; but there are countless gamers that it /is/ practical for. I believe that if I were to start producing these at some limited rate, they'd sell. The key here is customization and convenience. It's definitely not a Game Boy, but rather a means to be made available to certain lifestyles to allow them to game wherever they want.

As far as venting goes, I'm considering minimizing the power box. I killed the power inverter when I wired everything up. Now that box is mostly empty; all that remains is the wiring for the inverter. I played on this for a while and the X360 didn't seem to get any hotter than normal. The XB1 will be larger, but it won't have a power brick. So really there'll be even more room for it in there.

The straps, when I get them, will be easily detachable if the user wants to put a disc in. I figure most games will already be installed, so that won't be as big a problem. I just worry about the discs getting maimed by the gyroscopic effect of moving the console, like in the X360. I guess with that in mind I'll just have to be careful.

I like spicy foods... To a point. I like when the amount of spicy is enough to compliment the food, but not overpower it to the point where all you're focusing on is the heat. I can't enjoy food if it's too hot...

See, that's hard to say... Burritos, salsa, curry; they all have different levels of spicyness. I can't really think of anything. I guess my level of spicy comfort lies around the spicyness of jarred sliced jalapenos.

I'm not a fan of the kind of people that weigh 92lbs and call themselves fat. It fucking pisses me off. People lost their marbles.

Assuming we were in a relationship (just a hypothetical scenario!), what would you do with me?
Well, there are certain standards by which I stand by in respect to treating women right. There are certain clichés that I refuse to subscribe to; mostly the ones that society says should dictate how a relationship should go. You're either implying that I would be your superior, and not your equal or you're implying something sexy. :P

If the former, then that's not how I roll. In a relationship, I don't wish to dominate, I wish to understand. We're both human beings and if in a relationship I'd treat you as an equal. In bed, well, really anything goes. :P That's something that is discussed and experienced well into a relationship.

Do you like thai food, then?
I don't recall ever having thai food. I've wanted to try it because it sounds good. I should really look for a Thai food restaurant. I won't be able to try it anytime soon because of how much money I don't have. :P
