So, it turns out genuinely complimenting girls on the internet without appearing to be/feeling creepy is really difficult. Whether the recipients feel that way about me is up to them though.

I just think girls ought to be complimented.

I had a fun little dream last night.

So basically me and a bunch of people I didn't know ended up going on a quest in this magical world. Over the course of the adventure to get home, the group split up and went onto various quests- the group that included me didn't do as much interesting.

But the interesting thing about this dream was that it focused not on the quest but on the aftermath of the quest- people having had all sorts of experiences, and can they return to normal life? And in that sense I was the most privileged one, since I hadn't had to do anything difficult or suffered, and I was mostly interested in the potential for magic items brought back, and in seeing Mary again. (She hadn't been on the quest, which meant that she couldn't use any of the magic items, so I was worried she'd be jealous)

One woman on the trip had been heavily injured (lost her legs) and was then entombed in a sarcophagus and thrown into the void as a death penalty. She was brought back by her girlfriend, who had obtained superpowers, but had escaped and we were all looking for her as she was really depressed. But I found the whole thing annoying, and thought she really should just be grateful to be back home. Kind of assholish of me, really

Another part with me in my room, my sister in her room. She's trying to fix her iPod dock. At the same time, the dock is playing a song that is a somewhat modified version of the Ghostbusters song. It's from a version called 'SOS Costume' or something weird, where the Ghostbusters are all women.
