Let's not cock up this thread with metagame discussion. I'll reply in the proper thread. |

Posted by TrapsterAbout that... There are no sure-hit Ice- or -Fire type moves for Garchomp, Gliscor, and Froslass respectively.Posted by Trelior Also, Haze is learned by so few Pokemon it's not worth fucking your whole team over just for a countermeasure. Sure, Crobat is a good Hazer, but that move slot could be filled with something much more useful. Same goes for Rapid Spin, sure it rids the field of hazards, but it also has few viable learners. Again, Tentacruel and Starmie are good Spinners, but that slot is still better suited to other moves, more so because a Ghost renders it USELESS. |

Sighing, she says, "I didn't expect to enlist you guys in the hopeless struggle. As a matter of fact, I wasn't even sure I would see any of you again." Taking a deep breath, she goes on, "I'll take as much time as needed. I'm still recuperating as it is. I need to get my bearings straight and make my next plan when the time is right." |

I figured I make a thread where I share a few of my "works of art." Hardly art of its own merit so much as collaging art others have done into an aesthetic I find pleasing.
A PSP wallpaper I threw together because I couldn't find a ZP wall I liked. I found a fsjal template, if anyone remembers that image macro, and made a few Pokemon ones while I was playing Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, creating these: and Then grafting them together when I finally got my main character to evolve. |

I started losing interest in 4th Gen. Hoenn in 3rd turned a lot of people away, but the poor structuring of Sinnoh and its Pokedex turned me away... Not even the changes they made in Platinum redeemed it, because the updated third game shouldn't fix an underlying mechanic.
Sure, you didn't need the national Pokedex to trade "foreign" Pokemon in, because I traded from my friend's new game of Pearl to my new file of Heart Gold in a test of Starly for Rattata, and the trade happened, but both games had '???' in their number spot. That isn't the point, what is the point is that if you're going to include an unnecessary evolution to a Pokemon, make it available early on instead of going "OH HEY! BY THE WAY! MAGMAR CAN EVOLVE NOW!" in the post game. An great example is making the Pokemon evolve by making them learn a move that existed before, but they didn't have access to. Lickitung suddenly gaining compatibility with Rollout making it become an even more ridiculous cock slurp... giving Tangela and Yanma Ancient Power to give them bigger and dopier versions of themselves... Eevee, Nosepass, and Magneton now evolve at At context-sensitive locales... Seems like a load of ass-pull-a-palooza to me. At least the evolutions that made use of things that didn't already exist had some kind of validity behind them, even if the logic behind them was still fucking batty nuggets. EDIT: Added to the argument. |

Posted by GywallYou have to remember that Shadow Punch is nigh exclusively learned by Ghost-types, and Froslass has damn good speed. You run the risk of getting a Shadow Ball upside your head before you get the chance to move, which undermines the whole thought.Posted by TreliorActually, for Froslass, there's the option of Shadow Punch instead. Got to target the Ghost type instead. |

Posted by GywallThanks, I thought my typical bad art style fit the stylistic suck of the template fairly well. |

Posted by GywallBeing learned by a wide range of 'mons isn't very much in Faint Attack's favor, since Power 60 is hardly worth even a wispy fart in most cases. STAB or Technician barely makes the move passable by bringing it up to 90. Although, I suppose hitting hard isn't the point, because the logic behind it is that the attacker is so focused on making the hit that they can't punch quite so hard.Posted by TreliorI'd say a healthy Dusknoir has a good chance of surviving a hit from Shadow Ball. Also, I've just remembered about Faint Attack. A dark-type move learnt by plenty of different things.Posted by GywallYou have to remember that Shadow Punch is nigh exclusively learned by Ghost-types, and Froslass has damn good speed. I've run enough damage calculations to know that, even in high end tourney situations, attacks like Thunderbolt and its clones outperform their super powered retard forms. Not in overkill potential, but in the field of accuracy and the ability to easily one- to two-hit most things that take neutral damage.
The only time the beefy versions are truly useful is when they're bolstered by something, like Thunder and Blizzard becoming sure-hit in rain and hail, respectively. |

Posted by LilianaIs this, in tandem with the title, a reference to the resolution of Anju and Kafei's Bomber quest in Majora's Mask? |

Are you aware that trying to hide Majora's Mask trivia from me is like trying to hide an animal from a trained hunting dog?
EDIT: Posted by GywallIt is for me, as far as the Zelda series goes. |

Posted by LilianaThere isn't. Though, the fairy fountains you restore will act like them until you reset time.Posted by Trelior |

Posted by LilianaI forgot about that one fountain, because I feel the well is a rather forgettable area of the game... That and I usually take the most direct path through it, which doesn't require a fairy.Posted by Trelior |

Posted by LilianaThe area isn't so much scary for me as it is completely boring. I'm one of those guys that hates the horror genre because it scares the piss out of him, so much as hating it because of how dull it is. You know what I mean?Posted by Trelior |
