The best way to learn level design is to play hacks and take note of the different techniques that are used. Then, open up a level and practice at it. You're not going to be the best right off the bat, but keep plugging away at it and you'll get the hang of it.
ExGFX is a way to insert an extended graphics sheet into SMW. Has nothing to do with sprites, unless you want to dress them up in your own graphics set... Say, you want Mario to have a scarf in a certain snow-themed level. You need ExGFX for that. The sprites look pretty cool, although I haven't seen them implemented in anything. If you ever get it in SMW and can make a video of it and link it here, that'd be cool! |

Well, get it in SMW and I might be able to help you out with it. You might also give Fraps a try, it's a screen recording program. Good luck with the learning process. I feel it may come around easier for you than some others. Users sometimes come around that barely know how to put together a sentence (due to idiocy, or just plain speak another language) so it's good that you don't have to juggle that along with the learning process. |

For a high, I've been at the high 80's with rain today. Right now it's about 77, and it feels amazing. Gonna suck afterwards though, with all that humidity... |

Posted by SquidEmpressYou should go see what TCgamerboy2002 is doing over in this thread and see if you could lend a hand. SMW hacking seems pretty easy nowadays. As for what I did today... I went to the court to fight a speeding ticket that I got a couple weeks ago. I've elevated it to the actual prosecutor, and we'll see what comes from that. Fucking asswipe cops. |

Man, looking at some of these posts... I'm really impressed with Next Jen's layout. Interesting that artwork exists that makes a woman look amazingly sexy without actually flaunting the sexual bits. Kudos to whoever the artist is. |

I may have to go to the hospital in a bit.
I ate a decent size cobb salad smothered with bleu cheese, two full rolls of sushi/sashimi, three chicken thighs, an entire bag of doritos, and washed it down with a full two-liter of Dr. Pepper... |

It looks fine, except for both yours and mine are a bit too small. Readable, so I'm too lazy to change mine. I'd say yours is fine. |

- Women (mostly because of their enhanced ability for feeling emotion and seemingly reduced ability to control them, most of the time)
- Financial worries (I no longer have an emergency fund, and I have no health insurance. [Fuck Obamacare.]) - Confrontation (I hate being forced to confront someone, especially if the chances of escalation are high. I'll do what I must but I generally avoid it.) - Falling (I love heights, but I generally have respect for my own mortality. I'll go up to the edge of a cliff but I'm super paranoid about who's around me.) - Pain (It's prevented me from trying things in the past, such as daunting bike jumps. I guess it's a human reaction to prevent me from doing dumbshit things...) |

I had a mishmash of Transformers and Minecraft... In my dream, I was in real-life (outside of a game setting) where I was on some dirt road, hiking or something. I encountered an abandoned car that ran, but needed work. So I took it down to a shop and started working on it myself. That was when I discovered a giant load of TNT in the trunk and under the hood... It was a car, but one that had the persona of a creeper. I nearly shat my pants. After some time freaking out, I somehow became convinced that it wasn't going to blow up on me. I left the car in the shop though, and continued my hike at the point I left it...
Another area of the hike presented a really dusty road, with varying levels of terrain... and from around the corner and sorta between a low spot in the terrain, a very large actual creeper came out. It was surrounded by other individuals, and wore a hat and a jacket. The individuals surrounding the large, beefy creeper seemed to be other mobs from the game, such as skeletons, zombies, and endermen. There weren't a lot of them, but they were also wearing some kind of garb. It was a posse... They spotted me right away. I kept my cool, and played it all off like I would if I was passing another hiker on the trail. I was pretty intimidated... Who else wouldn't be if there was at least a minor chance of getting blown the fuck up? Surprisingly, this creeper was not hostile either. I took up hiking back on the trail again, chatting with the massive creeper and his posse, when all of a sudden one of them started acting "alerted" and then all of the mobs transformed into their appropriate vehicles and tore off into the distance... Then I woke up... Today is going to be an interesting day... |

Man, I wish more of us were within realistic meetup range. It's not fair that Mary and Nicole have all this fun, sex not included.
I'd love to host a VG streaming party. What was the last dream you remember? Do you often have nightmares? |

You bastard, I was going to ask the SAME THING. Except now I'm going to ask:
How do you feel about TWO new Fire Emblem characters being announced? |

I absolutely love thunderstorms. Especially ones that are extremely vocal. Although, these ones are really eerily nice, too...
It's been pretty warm here, but we're starting to get a little bit of cloud coverage. They're forecasting some scattered thunderstorms tonight with highs of around 90. Not bad... |

I uh, didn't bring you anything, guys...
Wait, I have this gas station receipt in my pocket. How big a deal is your birthday in your life though? For me, I used to have some insane parties and now I just use it as an excuse to not go to work. Do you guys have anything planned? |
