I started with the first system I ever owned, when I was 4. I'm pretty sure my dad's drug money paid for it, since we were piss poor, and the console costed like $250; for the late 80's, that was a fuck ton of money. NES; the gateway drug.
Before that, I sometimes played Atari at relatives' houses, but I was mostly exposed to DOS games that were puzzle/platformer and was lucky if it had 8 colors. |

It may be a bit pre-preemptive to ask, but have you outlined any particular features and/or changes for PB 0.8?
I'd really like to get this on an actual cartridge. |

Posted by CherryBunny"Txt" speak in general is absolutely infuriating to see. I get skyluigi's point; it's the principle of laziness and/or false sense of "coolness" to type that way. "lrn 2 txt" users? Fuck you. The English language has enough entropy as it is without you assholes adding your filth to it.Posted by skyluigiProbably. I mean, you need to move your finger for an additional keystroke. Try saying txt and text. They end up the same anyway. Also, "ain't" isn't a *proper* word. It's a word in the sense that it's used widely and often enough to justify calling it a word. What I laugh at is the group of dumbasses who don't know how to use it correctly. I saw a window decal on a huge obnoxious redneck truck that said "If it ain't pit, it ain't shit", referring to the pit bull breed. Well, asshole, you're right, pits *are* shit. |

I'll be playing these followed by .hack//G.U. (which I've not played) later on. I'm already halfway through the first one. I didn't finish due to a memory card data loss; I could have started fresh with #4, but I had a lot of shit I didn't *not* want to have by just starting anew. I've just now managed to have the desire to play these from the beginning again. Killed me not to have played the fourth one in its entirety... |

Posted by YusheWhat in the... Where did you hear that? Windows 7 is an OS; it's software. It doesn't have a "chip" in it at all. You're probably very misinformed that there's anything in it that makes it "go slower" in the first place... I wouldn't give ear to what you hear about things like that...Posted by DanielleI will upgrade to windows 9 as soon as it comes out, also I was going to get windows 7 untill I found out that it had a chip inside it that makes it go slower. |

I was about 15 at the time. I remember it was a Wednesday; I didn't have school, because of a doctor or dentist appointment. My mom usually has the radio going in the morning while getting ready in her room, and for some reason she didn't have it on. She was almost ready and asked me to turn it on for her. The first words I hear out of that box was "a terrible tragedy in New York this morning."
And then we turned on the TV, about three minutes before the second plane crashed into the other tower. It was at that point we realized we were under attack. We spent the day glued to the TV after that. Pretty sick shit. |

I wonder if there's a connection between people who like taking big shits and people who like anal sex. Which means I don't really like the implication of what I'm about to say:
I love taking massive shits. |

This is our time, though. Our grandparents can talk about b&w TV's, our parents can talk about coding fortran on mainframes, while we can talk about hyperventilating on NES cartridges.
Fucking gold, right here. Our kids will be proud. |

So let me take the thread title to a higher level: Do you like shitting from high places? (I think there's a certain comedic element to it!) |

I never knew such a thing existed. I did know about Restless Leg Syndrome though, as I have a mild case of it. I haven't had any symptoms of that related to arousal, though. I'm not sure how different it is for guys than girls.
Also, I don't even have health insurance, so if I get sick or something, I'm screwed. I hope the doctor is able to help you if something is indeed wrong. I wish you the best on the road to recovery. Not only that, I hope you guys are able to bounce back pretty quick with the job loss; networking is an amazing thing nowadays, especially for when you're looking for a job. It's usually who you know that can get you situated with employment. I've been down that road too, so, to a point, I know how your hubby feels. Don't focus on the obstacle. Focus on what's beyond it. That's the best way to defeat stress. Good luck, Next Jen! |

With all due respect to Acmlm, I think from a marketing standpoint, the board software moniker "Acmlmboard" should probably be ditched. It's a long standing tradition, it's a way of life, it's what Acmlm started; but at the end of the day it's not really going to help out your end goal.
If any of you know me by now, image is a big deal to me. I've gained insight by observing how people react emotionally and psychology to imagery and ideas. It killed me to be a part of board2 with such a name as it had. I never really felt the need to do anything for it because of how little I had to work with, and most reactions to my introduction of it were met with "wtf board2 lol what is this". At least with Kafuka, I have something to go off of. "Acmlmboard" doesn't jive well. Not to mention its past, with its negative connotations (security) and (respectfully) dated origin. The whole project was built around a scene, which, as painful as it is to admit, is really winding down. It seems silly to me to market board software to a given demographic who undoubtedly have a myriad of uses with a name that only reflects what, to them, is enigmatic nonsense. There needs to be something fresh and attractive even to those who aren't necessarily looking for board software at the moment. If you want this to be successful, you've really got to switch tracks on this. Coding is important, but execution of an idea is just as important as the execution of the underlying code of a function. |

Cranberry juice...
The taste is alright except for the bitterness. Not to mention the fact that everything in stores is some cocktail of cranberry juice and not the pure stuff that you need. At least where I'm at, it's hard stuff to get. UTI is not fun at all. I don't know how the pain is for women vs. men, but when I had it, I felt like I was pissing out a cactus. Nothing like orgasms or anything like that though... How's your hubby doing with the job search? |
