I did not drown myself in vodka last night. I was under Mr. Sandman's spell of slumber. Didn't even get woken up by random gunfire, car crashes, or fireworks out here.
Sleep is awesome. And now I think I will go take a nap. |

Okay-- another crazy dream for you.
Part One The first thing I remember about my dream was going to the mall to interview for some job. I don't know what the job was, or even the interview itself. But I DO remember parking my car in some 30min waiting area while I went inside to do the interview. It was in a fairly open area, close to the front of the mall. When I told my interviewer where I parked, they told me to move it for fear of getting ticketed or towed. So I went back outside to move it, and I got in my car and started the engine. Before I could put it in drive, I realized I wasn't in my own car. It was similar, but different. The engine sounded different. The inner door panels were different. It was like it was 3 years older model. So I drove the car to the police station and reported my car stolen, while driving this car that I was left with, and told them that someone must have switched the car out and also switched the ignition out so I could still use it. At first they accused me of driving a stolen vehicle, because the vehicle I was left with was also reported. Then the mall cameras backed me up, and I was cleared. They gave me a run-down police cruiser as a loaner to drive around. Part Two I was visiting my family in AZ and the first thing I remember doing was going shopping as a family; to get whatever snacks we wanted during our time together. I don't know what store it was, but it was a grocery store with sample booths set up. I had milk, cookies, and a few packets of "giant popcorn" that was microwavable. Eventually, I walked past the sample booth with some being made. I was curious about it so I stopped and waited for some to come out of the microwave. The popcorn was super loud, each kernel feeling like a firework going off. Sure enough, it came out giant. I looked inside the bottom of the bag, and noticed that the kernel size was about the same as the diameter of a nickel. There were about six kernels left, so I put them in my pocket like any little kid would do with things he thought was cool. So I went back and got a few more packets of popcorn and another half-gallon of milk for some reason. I took too long, apparently, because everyone was already at home by the time I was all checked out. I left for home in my beat-up police cruiser loaner, went down some roads that were not familiar to me at all, worrying about losing my own car to thieves, for good. After I got home, I found my family fighting, arguing over something I intentionally didn't focus on. Immediately, I got pissed at my dad and started to throw my groceries at him. He was sitting in a recliner and my half-gallon of milk went sailing right over his head, hitting the wall behind him, without bursting. That set him off. But instead of taking physical action like I did, he's like "Okay mother fucker, that's it. We're going to play some mother fucking checkers. We're gonna settle this entire thing over checkers! How's that sound!?" I stood there, dumbfounded, but still really pissed off. As he got out the checkers game, I picked it up and threw it at him. Then he left, out the front door. A few seconds later he came back and started arguing with my mom again. I got involved, but I forgot what I said. Then I discovered why all the fighting was going on. A game save on the computer had been corrupted, and my brothers were fighting over it, and it exploded into a huge altercation that got my mom and dad involved too. I sat down to discover the issue. They had a hex editor open, trying to write random changes to the file. I was trying to yell over the two parents arguing to explain that you can't just write randomly like that; nor can you save it because the file is open in another program. As I reached the end of the file, I woke up. I woke up happy my car wasn't stolen. |

Laying in bed, posting from my phone... wearing my black denim work pants, with thermals under that, with boxer briefs under that. No shirt. I suppose it's just laziness... the less getting-ready I have to do in the morning, the better. |

Why am I posting in this thread? I feel it's pretty straight forward what mine is. People call me KP, skip the number. Kaypea, as Kawa would say. Never really been known as anything else on the internets. |

I've been single for longer than I'd like, and I know what you mean. I've been through my share of heartache.
Women are going to be women. Some of them are motivated by drama, some are motivated by sex, and some are just baby hungry. (Those women just buy/adopt cats instead) There's an ugly truth that anyone who's unhappily single needs to come to terms with. You are who you are, and some women (or men, depending on who you are) just don't fancy your type. There's a ton of types out there, and some are less desirable than others. That is how society works. The thing is, society doesn't know a damn thing about YOU. So why conform to it? It happens all the time: they take one look at you, judges you by the minuscule time s/he took to look at you, then goes on their way. Or, maybe they are impressed enough to begin some kind of friendship or relationship, and then breaks it off because you're "not who they thought you were". And then there's this one, which happens all too rarely: Perhaps, under normal circumstances, s/he doesn't consider a relationship, then discovers your genuine intentions or finds out that the things you do/have done are worthy of her attention. Being single is hard. If you're motivated by meeting someone to be with, you have to play more than one game at a time. Don't just go for one girl and then put all your eggs in one basket. If you don't know very many girls, do something to change that. Don't dwell on what you don't have. In fact, please don't take this as insensitivity, but I wish someone said to me what I am about to say to you when I was heartbroken: get over it. The sooner you do, the sooner you'll have a clear mind to learn from your experience and build a defense for the negative. |

Posted by ek_0It is. If girls wanted that type of guy and didn't care about anything else, more girls would be with someone. Thing is, girls want other things, while not caring about others. They'll often tell you exactly what they want when they don't know what the hell they want at all. I mean, some girls have a pretty good idea, but generally it isn't limited to what you said above. It's quite sad that this is true in many cases in relationships these days. They chose strife, so do you even want a girl like that in your life anyway? So move on. Find a different group of friends. Tell them the truth; "I'm looking for a relationship, and I'm not going to find them around you". The more exposure to new people you have, the more chances you have. I'm convinced of this, despite not having found someone to be in a relationship with myself. I have a really shitty "first love" story too. Having been away from that situation for more than a year and a half, I can look back and say that I have learned a TON of stuff. I'm not going to tell you it doesn't hurt. It does. But I WILL tell you that it DOES get better. Maybe she isn't interested in you; but that means you have the ability to scout the market again to possibly find someone even better than your crush. I cannot stress this enough: Look Forward. Act Forward. |

Me, pictured with the famed Burnie Burns of Rooster Teeth (and Red Vs. Blue) on the left. Really pleasant guy to talk with! This is Burnie's girlfriend Ashley Jenkins, who is the big cheese running "The Know", a news portal from Rooster Teeth. Beautiful lady! The shirt I got autographed by these two. And Gavin Free in spirit! |

We like you, but dammit, this isn't all about you, you know.
I have shit grades. I'm in a good job now, and I worked hard to get there. It's possible. I failed a ton of classes. I never finished high school. I tell people I got a GED after three attempts, and they don't look down on me for it. If there's an aspect of you that people don't care about, trust me... it's academics. No employer has ever asked me about my grades. You have no excuse. My stepfather beat the shit out of me in my mid-childhood. How the hell do you suddenly have the crystal ball that tells you what the future has in store for you? You're right, life isn't easy for most of us. You gotta deal with that instead of taking the easy way out. It might be easy for YOU, but as I said before, it isn't about you. There are people in your life, who, despite what you think, will NOT be happy if you off yourself. (Us, your parents, probably many others.) I don't know where the fuck you get the idea that nobody cares about you despite us telling you that we do. Why would we lie about that? I'm kind of sick of talking to a wall, here. Despite all of the shit I went through, I never thought about suicide beyond the philosophical aspects of it. Why? Because I like to think I'm not a selfish asshole who only thinks about oneself. Do you know how many lives you'd royally fuck up if you killed yourself? Granted, I am not you, and I might be wired differently than you and therefore might not suffer the same way from certain forms of depression, but I do have depression myself and you have to run shit through your mind as logically as possible when you have these kinds of thoughts. Get on a suicide line; you're not any less of a person for it. Wanna play Words With Friends with me? Add me on Facebook, look up Kyle Packey. |

Posted by ek_0I do. Let me explain something. Squiddy, if you think nobody gives a shit, why would you get online and make a thread on a message board to get everyone on here to join in on your little pity party? Because you want to be validated. Generally, people who actually commit suicide don't involve anyone else in their plans. They actually don't give a shit, or can't live with or love themselves or their thoughts; the chemical imbalance becomes too great. On the flip side, people who are in their dark places and calling for help write stuff like this. You already know you aren't going to do the things you said you'd do, and you already know people give a shit. You're tired of putting forth effort academically and you're tired of your parents' shit. Those last two? Fucking deal with it. Nobody else gets a pass from this either. The former two? Well, there are other ways to go about getting feedback on how to deal with your issues. Yes, the OC is a great place to go, but no, attention whoring isn't the way to do it. When you wise up and are stable again, come in here and we'll talk about it. |

Posted by CherryBunnyI guess Chrome isn't too picky. It looked fine on my end... I just copied it from another sprite I randomly clicked on and used what it had used, so there may be more before 410.Posted by KP9000Everything from 410 onwards.Posted by CherryBunnyWhich ones did you fix? Monty Oum has passed away due to complications of a simple and routine medical procedure. He has had an allergic reaction during this procedure, where he fell into a coma and later passed.
For those of you who don't know, Monty Oum was the creator of Haloid and Dead Fantasy. At the time of his death, he was employed by the online entertainment content company Rooster Teeth to create shows such as the widely-known Red Vs. Blue and the animated show RWBY. I'm not sure why this is hitting me so hard. Maybe I do. I mean, I'm not driven to tears or anything, but I'm caught surprised by how many times in my mind I return to what has happened and to the empty hole left by Monty. I'm a huge fan of Rooster Teeth and the content they produce. They're a very transparent company in terms of staff, so consumers get to see a lot of the staffs' lifestyles, habits, and demeanor. These are qualities required psychologically by individuals to get to know one another. We have received a small portion of that as an audience of how Monty really was, and it sort of explains why I felt a little bit like I "knew him" on some personal level, and why I felt like his loss was a loss suffered by everyone who knew him. |

I'll never believe in a million years they'd kill him off. If they did, it's pretty dark. Plus, they'll find a way to bring him back anyway. Otherwise we'd never have the next forty Mario Party games. |

Here's a less-than-safe-for-work video of Monty and his various screentime he's had. A great man was lost... |
