Fun fact: it's called a signature instead of a footer because, in all likelihood, the first implementation didn't have a header, making it more like the signatures of most any other board. The name just stuck, perhaps because often enough people use it as an average signature, like Emuz does.

ABXD, in contrast, calls it a footer in userspace, though the database and code still call it a signature.

That fonts class makes the "posted by" part smaller. That's all it does.

Ever since I first used PHP, I've done so in a procedural manner. But I thought to myself, gee I've been writing in an object-oriented manner in C# for a while now - why not give it a try in PHP?

It's hooked up to the Nikoboard database since it's just guest-level browsing for now. When I get to logging in and replying, I'll probably set up a new one with a minimum of tables and fields.

It's something that's been on my mind quite a bit today. Completely different layout because fuck typewriter jams, right? Seems to be much faster to use, too.
