Can we find something other than Matrix that isn't already bought out by cryptobros as a means of alternative?

I mean I guess I could always make a Vent server or something one of these days if it got that bad.

I mean...it's not exactly a couple of things to type. If you're looking for a generic copy and paste, I might be able to do something for you but it probably wouldn't be much more different than the one I have.

There are other, more talented people who could do it for you here, if you ask.

Well, Discord has already infamously gone the way of crypto until they got backlash so bad on their Nitro subscriptions that it ran them years into the dirt of money loss.

Outlook not so good.

That would've been the NES for me. My parents did have an old VCS but by the time I have memory of past events, it was already in their closet collecting dust. Original SMB, Duck Hunt, Tetris would eventually be followed by Dr. Mario and SMB3. And that was the early years before 1990 rolled.

Mate-Compiz for the Fedora server I run. Before that it was MATE exclusively with Mint. Not that I have a problem with Cinnamon that came with Mint but I just largely preferred MATE over it.

And I don't necessarily have a problem with XFCE, especially with MX Linux being a thing and it being its default, but I don't use Linux all that much in my home environment past server-based things. Still very much a Windows users for main operating use.
