I decided to finally reconnect my hard drive to my Wii and test out the games I've been downloading for the past week to see if they worked. Good news, They all do!
I wound up deleting one of the games since it was a really shitty hack of New Super Mario Bros... I played 1-1 to about the midpoint before returning to the Wii menu in disgust. Enemies were strewn everywhere in a way that lacked any semblance of subtlety that they were deliberately made for 1-up grinding... But since it runs off of your NSMBW save file to begin with, I used my perfect file that had 99 lives for Mario to begin with. There was also a "bonus" area that had not one, but two boxes with Mini Mushrooms and Starmen... If I'm not mistaken, even if you're playing multiplayer, those boxes spew powerups for everyone... Which makes the second box for both items worthless. When I was testing Ninjabread Man, I found out why the WBFS was so tiny (64MB)... And that was because it's only three levels and a required tutorial that was designed for any mentally deficient retard or small child could complete easily... As a result, I decided to replay the game with my Wii hooked to my computer to record a Let's Play of it. It's uploading to Youtube as I type this now. I might even post the videos or link to them at some point. |

Why do I feel the need to remind you that Ganon is spelled with one N in the middle. |

* Trelior looks at his hand and sees the upper Triforce imprinted there,
Looks like I'm the one with the Triforce of Power! |

Just because I have the Triforce of Power, doesn't mean that I'll be consumed by it like Ganondorf was. |

I've been fighting µTorrent for bandwidth all day... I could understand if the two torrents that were downloading were coming in at a rate of, say, 200KB/s each and having a hard time loading Youtube and other pages... But NO! they're fucking around, only coming in at 20KB/s.
What the fuck? |

Posted by GywallYou can set a limit with µTorrent, but it only does good when throttling the torrents down actually, y'know, reduces the speed.Posted by TreliorThis is exactly why I like programs you can hard limit download rates on. In fact, BitTorrent has a setting to apply a limit to how fast you upload/download. |

Caionna responds to Natalie at length, "That may be the case, but these rings contain so little of their essences that it can't pick up on much more than if they're still alive..." With a sigh, she continues, "Besides, even if they could pinpoint their location, it would be suicide to pursue it at this point. It would be best to bide our time." |

Final Fantasy II, I'm really getting into the story now...
I managed to get through Deist, the Colosseum, and Castle Fynn all in the window of about two hours. I had to keep leaving Deist Cave because Firion kept running out of mana, and I even scrapped his Cure to reteach it since the benefit was being outweighed by the cost at level 12, it's back to level 8 already. Going to the Colosseum was an... erm... Interesting... Scenario. I beat the Behemoth boss nigh instantly with spread Teleport 9 to the face, but the dungeon escape was a bitch... I had to save scum my way out because the place was crawling with Specters and Revenants, and they have Drain Hit. Normal attacking monsters hit for 0-20 and inflict ailments if they have them, because my defense is so high... Drain Hit gives their attack a combination of their attack power plus their difficulty rank as a Drain spell level, then smack your 3000 HP members across the face for easily 30% damage. I went from having Gus with near full 3200 HP at the beginning of a battle to having ~300 left when the first turn was over. Not cool... And again, Gordon wasn't much help. Castle Fynn isn't much to talk about... A straight run up the castle stairs to the boss, then free reign once the rebels reclaim it to gather the treasures. More Specter/Revenant issues, though... Now I'm going through the castle catacomb looking for the White Mask to take to Mysidia. Yeah, now I'm on my way there because the plot needs me to. Shit is bananas. |

I mowed the lawn today, and wound up breaking the weed whacker... I dunno how it happened, either. I was clearing out the end of tangled grass that it sucked in, went to get back to mowing, and the throttle trigger snapped off. This sucks. |

I'll admit, I haven't been following Mario all too closely lately... I know I've been playing a lot of Mario games, (Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi RPG, etc) and have downloaded several more with intent to eventually play them (Galaxy 2, Party 8, Party 9, etc)... I just seem to be falling out of interest with the iconic mascot.
It almost feels like how I feel about Final Fantasy. I love the ones I've played (for the most part, FFI/II/IX |FFVII/VIII ), but the newer stuff just rubs me the wrong way. |

"Knowing Zissou, since he was the one who enchanted them, he probably found a way to fully seal the soul fragments so that their only purpose was to be an indicator..." Caionna responds, "But, I'm unsure of what he did exactly, so I can't say for sure, either." |

Posted by TitleI could've sworn the song was Highway to the Danger Zone... Then again, this is Kafuka, where our version of New York's Madison Square Garden is a Hypercube... EDIT: Upon further thought... "Kafuka" means "Overclock," so using the word "Meltdown" is fucking genius. |

Woo! 100 points! This is like Whose Line is it Anyway, though, so the points don't matter.
It's not like the KCS is an Atari game, where points were everything. |
