Probably the Family BASIC keyboard? But I guess as a keyboard that's not weird, it's just the fact that it's a keyboard that plugs into a Famicom that's weird...

Maybe my Macintosh-layout Model M? Or the aforementioned Wooting, which is my main keyboard at home nowadays... (and I've replaced the Windows keys with novelty cat-paw keycaps )

The monitor I'm using on my Amiga, Apple IIgs, MSX, and Win95 setups is behaving oddly and seems to be degrading in image quality...

If the monitor was as old as the computers it's attached to that wouldn't be surprising... but it's a 1080p LCD monitor I got barely more than a year ago! No excuses here

I've heard questionable things about them; but I do have a machine running on its period AT power supply and power supplies are one computer thing in which I think new is pretty much always better than old.... I wonder if I should give them a chance?

Never had any issues personally, but beware that most modern PSUs do not have a -5V line (required by select ISA cards), and you may run into issues with such cards

-5V lines are dumb anyway

but -12V is required by the RS-232 standard and needs to be brought back post-haste

and also provided on USB

maybe USB-D can do that

One thing I've heard about SSI is that they pretty much always reject you the first time and you have to appeal; I guess it's to weed out people who are faking it? The whole process seems like a huge pain to me, but if you literally can't work, well, that's what it's there for...

Dead malls are interesting; my office is next to a (very active, but whose Sears anchor recently closed) mall, and I often imagine what it would be like if the mall entered a steep decline.

I like it! I think in the Wii era was when people were really getting tired of cel shading and there was some backlash, by now though I think it's just another art style and do it if you like

Tossing thoughts out there out of nowhere... you play as an Atlantean woman (she'll need a name, probably something obnoxiously modern like Madison) who happened to be on vacation in Troy when the city falls, and now has to get back home in a ridiculous trapise across a heavily parodized version of the Bronze Age Mediterranean; doing for the Odyssey and the Aeneid what Space Ava did for quantum mechanics.

Would give me plenty of opportunities for stupid jokes, and also is an interesting period of history, so give me an excuse to do more reading about technology of the time and such.

This might actually be pretty fun to make... hm
