World 8 in New Super Mario Brothers (and NSMB Wii) has volcanoes.
At least three levels in NSMB take place -inside- a volcano (one of which is forced scrolling via rising lava) and another level throws REALLY DANGEROUS VOLCANIC ROCKS at you. And then there's NSMBWii, where you're lucky to find a level in world 8 that isn't literally built from lava. Hell, the first level pits you against a slow pyroclastic flow... |
