right now i do web design, wordpress, and ad serving stuff at a web site with mma coverage and youtube link-dump-esque stuff. next month i'm going to be starting a new job doing php and frontend stuff at a luxury fashion e-commerce site. right after i graduated i did web/flash-based instructional courseware for a government subcontractor.

I've been diagnosed as bi-polar. It's basically the cause of most of my temper fits over the years. The medication I am on currently, in conjunction with the fact I sucked at spelling to begin with, my odd typing mistakes. I also have a little bit of dyslexia too that is magnified by that as well.

I was once diagnosed with ADD, but I didn't really have it, and it was a misdiagnosis of my other condition. However my last Doctors appointment they discovered that I have very high thyroid levels. Hyperthyroidism can mimic Bi Polar in some cases, and the fact my medication is known to cause hypothyroidism it's a red flag.

My Brother however is High functioning Autistic. He's living currently in a group home and he's doing quite well!

I remember this argument generally gets brought out when an ACS is proposed, but I don't know if it ever really happened to such a degree? After all, it'll probably lose most of its novelty pretty quickly. (Of course, there is the question whether the "badge" system proposed for this site will lend enough importance to the ACS, assuming badges are given to winners... as usually in my experience monthly wins are otherwise quickly forgotten)

As for the Legion quote, I guess the point is to sound ridiculous, but it sounds reasonable enough to me.

I'm thinking that badges for everyone month might be much. The way the system is planned you can make one badge "KCS 2012" and give it a variable of month. Possibly even more advanced. However I am wondering if a "best of 3 months" for the badge may be better. It's kind of difficult to know just how it's going to go until we get it going.

From what I've seen, usually the fun introduced by it usually balances out the amount of extra posts. Every site is different, so if it gets too bad here we could always make a change.

Edit: Colin said he won't be able to manage more than one ACS at this time. So I'm going to be looking for someone to fill the role.

Yeah, right now it's just a number. Once we tie it into a forum sort (to see most popular threads in a mix of a lot of other threads), or something like that a user can actually use the information of a +1 other that "+X thumbed up this thread"

I'm more into the possibly future applications of it.

Bouche said he is shrinking it, and a per user option will be made to choose your preferred initial state of the box (folded or open.)

I may got to Dragon*CON again this year as it's been a few years since I have. It's in Atlanta, GA, from Aug 31 to Sept 3. It's a big one for sure.

Yup I didn't know only due to the fact that was 6 years ago. I think I did know back then after I woke up that day, but hell I make no claims I can back up from that timeframe. That period of time has become fuzzy in my memories lol.
