There is an oddity I don't think we can fix with the CSS.. allows for custom titles to be applied using CSS.. should be disabled if we can help it.

Is there even a way to disable a piece of css code?

This is not a hard thing to implement, and having Less features could benefit in simpler style sheet code, as well as give some opportunity for future expansion. Why have the administrative overhead over innovation? (although we haven't a choice this very moment) and this was not initially meant to be an answer to the administrative problem, was more an enhanced layouts development item.

Btw it doesnt have to be Less, any other dss like Sass could do but I like Less because it's backwards compatible with CSS.

Either option, or both are valid approches to the situation. Right now it's just that fake custom title thing that's in question. If when asked they remove it I don't think we have an issue for the short term. I'm giving a little leway only for fun. If (admins) you want to ask to remove them, don't wait for me. (like it saying "administrator" of "douchefuck")

I'm sorry for my irritability, I just couldn't part with my layout or the ability to make others like it. :P I'm only saying that I wouldn't mind the administrative overhead because that's all I'm limited to now since I can't code.

it seems like a common way that users make post layouts is to include a css file with their modifications. why don't we include a field in the profile where they can enter a stylesheet? that way, it's stored on the board db and we can do any sanitization (ie. giving the user's posts a unique class name and prepending the css selectors with it) before displaying it.

we could determine which users will have their post layouts displayed on a given page (ie. page x of thread y) and then have a php script that generates a single css file with all of the necessary layouts included.

ABXD collects all stylesheets in the output buffer and removes any duplicates.

I don't know if this one has been suggested already, but editprofile needs proper error handling, instead of always applying the changes and discarding whatever is wrong (especially wiping layouts!!).

I might take care of that sometimes soon... but uh I really need to get editperms.php to a somewhat usable state.
