I had some rain this morning or yesterday. I'm glad it finally cooled off this summer heat. Since we didn't have much of a winter, I had a feeling parts of this summer would be quite hot.
Most of the grass in some of my neighbors' lawn is dead because of all the hot weather - unless one of the few who aren't dead dump gallons of water on their lawn. I'd hate to see their water bill. |

The sky got dark earlier this afternoon, and I heard some thunder. I don't think we got anything more than a short spritzing because I didn't notice any rain, but the ground was visibly damp.
I wish we would just get the rain we need and be done with it. |

Around three this morning, the storm that hit @Emuz yesterday rolled over me.
It started out pretty soft, then picked up into a downpour that went on for an hour or so, then petered out again. Toward the end, it was raining more or less at the rate that would have been most beneficial to the water table, but because so much water had just ran off, I don't think all that much soaked into the ground. As for today, I think they're calling for more storms. |

Good weather always seems to hit me when I'm busy with projects or going away to some one else's house.
Right now it is about right for sitting outside and absorbing the sun's rays. I love sitting outside doing that. I like the heat a lot more than most of my family for some reason. |

How much rain did you have overall?
I haven't gotten any rain for awhile but it is freaking cold in my house right now. I'll assume it is outside too. Then again, it is late at night. Haha. |
