I'd imagine it would be some people set their scrollwheel sensitivity to something silly.. or use the click-drag technique.

The world could always use more heroes!

But my scrollwheel has a flywheel mode, so I give it a good fling and it'll scroll for about fifteen seconds before losing momentum.

I don't believe you. Cease this treachery at once.

Can we keep it on topic, please. Your memories can't be so bad that you forget this is the memory thread because of your bickering.

My memory is a bit weird if I may say so myself.

Some thing I never remember, like, I keep asking what's for dinner repeatedly. (I usually asks what's for tomorrow or on X day, and then I ask it again that day several time.)

Other things that may have been mentioned just once I remember and keep track of, unconsciously trying to clear that goal or answer that question about it that may or may not come up. :I

I read this thread's first page and then went to the next page. When I came to the second page, I decided to vote. (voted "Just enough to remember important stuff")
Then I scrolled through the thread swearing I seen certain replies and thought that people were making a terrible joke about forgetting their own replies and then I realized I just reread the entire first page again. Haha.

I can remember random useless facts, but not important stuff. It's frustrating. I'll remember the cheat code for the NES Lone Ranger, but I can't remember if I told Thing X to Person Y, or what I learned in class years ago, or what I had for lunch yesterday.

I never remember passwords, I just keep a list of them in my apartment instead.

I'm face-blind, so I have a really hard time remembering faces. Often, people IRL are like "Hi Taryn! Remember me?" and I'm like "No". And it turns out that I saw them every day for a year a while back.

I am very bad at memory but paradoxically good at memorization. It is how I manage to be very forgetful about daily events yet still ace every single exam I take.

Selective memory. I remember what I want and what I need to know.

If someone is talking to me and I don't need to retain the info, I tend to start day dreaming or talking in my head.
