One of the many constants I've had over the last 10 years is the birth of [as]. I found it back when they first got Futurama. When they got Family Guy it became a regular part of my nightly routine. Most of the tRO stuff was made to the background noise of Adult swim. (Actually I was going to put the Mooninites in tRO2 before I left the net) I really don't watch it as much as I used to since I work. I still catch the Family Guy block as I fall sleep, and the Toonami block since Saturday is really the only day I stay up longer than 12am.

Since it's usually a "like it or hate it" thing I was wondering of those who get it what are you thoughts? I am not as big on their original programming myself. They have good ones, but they have a lot of ones I don't like as well. What does everyone think of the new Toonami block? I never did see the original Toonami myself.

I first discovered Adult Swim back in 2005 (the Golden Age as it's often called), then didn't watch it for like a year and half because of no cable... by mid-2007 I used to watch it every night again :) In early 2008, they began to scale down on anime however and I didn't watch it as much... (I also worked Friday/Saturday nights then, and that was when the anime was on)

Nowadays, I rarely turn on Adult Swim, but I do occasionally watch InuYasha from DVDs and my personal recordings from Adult Swim on VHS back in the day :D

Haven't we already determined that Cartoon Network in general, compared to ten years ago, should have died already?

<_<

Well actually I guess the same can go for all animation networks any more.

I used to watch Adult Swim a lot when I was a kid. My main problem with watching it wasn't some of the content but the time. I used to sleep a little before the time so I would be too tired of missing a little sleep.

I watched some of the older cartoons on it like Space Ghost and some others. Good stuff!

Edit: Oh and of course I still watch it from time to time but I mainly watch things on Netflix nowadays. I try not to stay up as much.

I also watched Toonami too but that faded away after a few years.

I watched Adult Swim when I was younger... Back like, what, 2002? I found out about it at my Grandma's house, cause I was always allowed to stay up later when I was there. My cousins told me all about it and I saw it and was like "ooooh cool!"

But I never watch it. Mostly cause of the fact that I just don't watch TV, but back when I did, Adult Swim was always a fun watch.
