This as to do with BH89's cookie system a few years back. It basically takes a subnet mask of the machine you login to. If you attempt to access the board and it doesn't match.. it logs you out. lcookie.php If you set it to * it won't do that to you. The developers and I talked about it tonight a bit tonight too.

The exact reason why I don't know, but the basic idea was to help secure people's accounts and add a hurdle for spammers.

I knew most of the reason, but I wasn't around during the post split era. Thank you for filling in the details. Yeah I knew it was for drive by cookie theft, but that's about it..

What's on my mind.. hmm. Welp I have to do a performance review at work and it's stressing me out only because I have to say what I do.. and I do so much it's going to take forever to figure out what % for each... Oyi! It's always the little things I swear.

There is only one thing on my mind and that is the lady friend. I haven't seen her for over two weeks and now that school started, it pisses me off that I can only see her on weekends. Plus I'm rather depressed that I can't see her once until then and maybe won't even.

I miss her so badly I'm actually thinking of doing something stupid.

That wouldn't be a problem if places were hiring and if I didn't suck at job interviews and I don't have a college education or a degree.

Which is why I am choosing to write and hopefully get published to rid myself of the job that I loath so much. I don't want to keep looking for a new job, I want to get paid for what I enjoy doing.

I'm terrible with interviews. I've failed every single one I have ever been in, and the only reason I've had jobs is that some of them don't require interviews, thankfully.

So you're basically wanting to become an author, then? Best of luck, it takes years at a time to write stories and stuff. My Mother's boyfriend gets paid from writing and stuff. He writes articles on a place called fiverr.

I've been writing since the 5th grade and with this set of characters for a long time, so I know them well. Got the first draft of my book typed out and now I have to go back and edit and polish it up. There's a lot of work to be done with it and I already know what I need to add and what to take out. So fun hard times ahead. Sucks that I have a 40hr a week job that takes up some of that writing time but if I work hard enough, it will pay off, I just know it. I know I'll be rejected but eventually, I hope, I won't be.

I freelance now as a writer and editor of a video game website and I've had a few of my poems published back when I was in middle and high school.

Yes and it has changed since I posted the rough version. And with my current edits, going to change again but the core story is there.

I ordered a book via Amazon that came in while I was on vacation that I hope will help me with the edits and to fins a publisher. I'm going to need to buy some highlighters cause I am going to color up that book. Oh and post-its. But I think I have those.

I'm busy with work and the rest of my free time is spent with my girlfriend, so my life here's starting to go south...

But, girlfriend, though! And I at least like their family!

I worry about my credit situation. If I eventually get myself into a position where I'll need to support a family or even just a spouse, I need to fix my credit. It's been haunting me for a while. I really hate it.

I'm stuck at work trying to figure out what I exactly do so I can be reviewed on it. I do quite a lot of things and it's perplexing me. As I joked to @Ferdal: "It's easier to list what I don't do it seems" Doesn't help I slept almost nil last night. Insomnia++ mode was in effect.

While in my sleep muddled state I thought my class started 30 minutes later than it usually did, 9:30 as opposed to 9:00, because my Tuesday/Thursday class starts then. YAY FOR MORE BEING LATE TO ASTRONOMY.
