Yeah. Seems like it broke completely now.

I used to be able to buy them in IE6, but not in Opera. Now, I can't buy items in either. Seems something went kaboom.

Something like this happened a month ago on my test board. Either way, this won't matter soon when the new system comes into the picture. :D

When that will be depends if I get more people giving feedback and other factors.

I figured out the problem btw. If the referrer is empty, buying items fails. This has been there since the original AB2 used at bh89's board. Who knew?

Huh, my problem was a bit different. Although I never had a problem at this board. Maybe it is related to something I'm not seeing so who knows? Again it won't matter when my update goes through. So many updated things and systems to look forward to!

Indeed. Disabling your referrer stops you buying items as a bit of protection against people trying to send your browser through to buy an item.

Could make those links protected with tokens or something like delete post and such. That way you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Yep. Adding CSRF tokens to the URLs would be better. Or making the links send POST requests.

Or making the links send POST requests.

Do it like that, but have the link be generated by JavaScript snippet, and have a button inside a noscript tag as a fallback.

Now that I think about it, replacing the link with just a button is the most sensible, as buttons naturally represent something that takes action.

I am going to go with the tokens as that can all be easily controlled by a token function of sorts.
