I agree. I live at the 2nd floor and full grocery bags which weighs in at at least 3-4 kilos each can be a pain. Especially if one's been carrying them all the way from the store.

I probably am in better condition, Kawa, which is how I would manage to do it. I don't walk up stairs much, but, who said they had to be long stairs? IT could be only 6-7 stairs at a time?

You never know.

I go to the supermarket about 3 times a week and just buy about 2 bags worth of stuff. Rarely I overbuy and end up with 3-4 bags and I struggle to get it 1/4 mile home without bags breaking or things spilling.

So I can't really imagine someone carrying 8 bags home, much less up stairs <_< >_>

My husband and I always try to make one trip from the car and up the stairs. Which sometimes makes our arms and/or hands blue. The last set of stairs is inside of our apartment, so we then have to deal with the cats and dog getting in the way.

Car? I don't have one of those.

The checkers at the supermarket always ask if I need help getting the groceries to my nonexistent car. They'll remember all kinds of weird details about me, like my job or my bizarre eating habits, but can't remember that I walk ^_~

(Actually, I suspect corporate has told all employees to ask everyone such, even in the easily walkable urban locations like the one I use.)

We're rather poor and live of my dad's check that he gets for having me, as a child still. (Though not really a child, but) He gets a check every month for about 2-300 and that's when we go out shopping and stuff. So we happen to buy a lot of stuff, at least 10-20 bags worth.

So it';s really quite possible.

That may explain it. I live alone, so there is no "we" to carry my groceries home, just an "I" ^_~

Well of course. We as in me and my father. My brother finally moved out so I am happy once again. But you really should get some people to help you with stuff though, it makes it a lot easier, especially if it's really heavy. I'm not saying you can't do it on your own but...yah

Nah, I'm fine carrying it by myself 3 times a week, really. I don't really have meatspace friends and even if I did, I wouldn't want to hassle them over it all the time.

...Groceries?

*looks at food in the room that was bought by his parents and brought in in a big plastic box*

Huh.

Normally I prefer doing one trip when moving things in my dorm though. I always have to carry a few things with me when I go back home, usually the hamper and recyclables, but the worst thing ever was when I needed to move my microwave up four flights of stairs to my room, along with all my other crap. I think I had brought some video games home too, in a box. I REALLY did not want to take two trips.

Gggggaaaaaahhhhhhh. Never again.

Actually no one was implying anything. >_>
In other news, it looks like my Syndrome has finally worn off. I could revive it if I wanted to since I only need a couple of posts but the rate of dropping will increase before too long, hehe.

Yes there was. I was. Did you not see that I was implying something.

Also Scrydan, have you surpassed ++ yet? That's where the real rewards lay.

That's not how it works.

Using:

>Implying blah blah blah.

Is a response where you're pointing out that someone else is making an implication. It's wrong to use it self-referentially, in the same post. Let's not forget that there still was nothing implied at all.

Man, how must it feel to post a ranking set of yourself consisting at first? Doesn't that give to a boost in boasting? OR have you not lowered yourself to that yet.
