Final Fantasy X is my favorite from the series, then followed by FF6. I also enjoyed FF8, FF9, and then FF7. For me, FF7 isn't on the top of my favorite Final Fantasy list. I did not enjoy FF5 or Tactics, but that's not my style of gaming. FF12 was meh. Loved Balthier and Fran from the game, but it was hard for me to actually finish it, but I eventually did. I did not finish FF5 or Tactics.

As for FF13-2, I already have it. Did a review on it, but sadly, haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. FF13 was meh for me, much like FF12 was.

Did you play any of Final Fantasy I through IV?

I own 1 - 3 and I've played FF4, which I think I beat, but I can't remember.

I know this is all opinion, but I'd like to know your reasons for your opinions: Why do you rate FF8, a game I consider greatly inferior to the others in the series, lower than some that are considered the best? FF9 in particular. Any particular reason, or is it just a personal "I just do" thing?

I just randomly listed Final Fantasy games, but if I had to list them:

1. Final Fantasy X (and X-2, since I combine both as one game, simply for the story): I had this debate with myself for a long time on which Final Fantasy game I liked better, FFX or FF6. Final Fantasy X finally won out. The story, characters and music are all outstanding. I can look past the "meh" voice acting, especially from Tidus, but overall, for me, this game is my favorite Final Fantasy game. I loved the fighting system. Finally, a FF game where you can bring in more characters during battle when someone falls. I always hated how a character would fall in battle and once the three (or four) person party died, that was it, game over. What about the rest of the party?! Are they at the pub? Sleeping? They just don't care about their fallen? I also enjoyed the sphere grid, which I ended up maxing out.

2. Final Fantasy VI: Kefka. Best Final Fantasy villain, hands down. He pretty much destroyed the world and his only issue? Getting sand in his boots. Once again, this FF game is loved by me so much because of the characters, story and music, even though I like FFX's musical score much more.

3. Final Fantasy VIII: A lot of people did not like this FF game, especially with FFVII releasing right before it. I did. I haven't replayed it in awhile, but I still remember enjoying this game. I liked the characters, well, maybe not Selphie, and the story wasn't that bad. I did find the "draw system" a little annoying, but I dealt with it.

4. Final Fantasy IX: Reason why its not ranked higher than FFVIII is because I felt it was too "kid like". Loved the relationship between Zidane and Garnet and one of my all time video game scores comes from this game, it is titled, "Not Alone". I haven't played this FF game in a while either and maybe if I played both 8 and 9 again, the order might change.

5. Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core: I actually liked Crisis Core more than FF7. Maybe its because of the story, but something about Crisis Core really pulled me in.

6. Final Fantasy VII: This was my first Final Fantasy game that I played. I enjoyed it, but as other FF games started to come out, I liked those more. Plus, I really didn't like the "flower girl" that much, until I played Crisis Core. When she died, I wasn't all bent out of shape about it. I hated taking care of Chocobos and the materia system.

7. Final Fantasy XII: Only because of Bathier and Fran. The story was good as well, but I didn't like the rest of the characters. Well, maybe Bash as well.

8. Final Fantasy XIII: I just could not relate to the characters, at all. And even if I couldn't relate, I just didn't like them. I'm surprised that I finished this game.

(I did not either start or finish the following: Final Fantasy 1 - 5, Final Fantasy Tactics, Dirge of Cerberus.)

I feel like I left something out here as I am getting distracted now...

Oops, didn't think I had unanswered questions in here.

PAX was amazing!!! I totally want to do it again and I just might next year. Not sure if I'll go to Prime again or if it will East, but we'll see.

I used to play with RC cars when I was younger, but not so much now due to less time and I want to spend my money elsewhere.

I haven't really thought about a new thread title. Maybe I should start. Eventually. Maybe.

Everything at PAX was just super awesome. But I think the highlight for me was Halo 4. The first day of PAX, media is allowed to walk the show floor an hour early. I knew the line to play Halo 4 would be super long, so I made sure to get there first to try it out.

Excited, nervous and a tad agitated. Been working on my book to get it finished in order to submit it to an open call. That window is two weeks, starting on the 1st. Just been trying to get that ready. But I write better when listening to music and no one is in the room. Hard to do that when my husband is home and he gets pissy when I ask him if he can do something in the bedroom for a few while I try to write.

Nope, only inhaled (I think) pot once and it wasn't even a lot. As for drinks, there's rum, whiskey, vodka, mudslides, white Russians, sex on the beach, tequila sunrise, drinks like that.

Fiji Islands.

I would have to say my dad. Beyond that, there really isn't anyone else. I get more inspired/motivated by places rather than people.

Favorite Pokemon, might be Pikachu. I've got a few stuffed Pikechus from when I was younger and into Pokemon. As for generation, it will always be first. I don't follow/play it anymore, but I did play Pokemon Diamond (I think) a few years back.

Videogame taunt would have to be from HK-47 in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Love it when he calls everyone a "meat bag" and just tone of voice and delivery is just perfect.

Yep. Haven't played on it for a while tho. Greay system, but sadly, ahead of its time.
