I keep staying up late coding. When I get into the zone, I can't stop. Well, either way, more coding is planned and homework I procrastinated on. Bah. I need to work on it now. |

Back to work today.
Filed my voucher so I can get paid for the trip I just came back from, then spent the rest of the day researching and discovering the joy of my new additional duty (crap I have to take care of in addition to my normal work). Found out that I'm the squadron's new "Self-Inspection Assessment Program Manager". Crap. Oh...and the inspections started today. Lovely. Stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours while on the way to work this morning. Both lanes of the road blocked by an epic accident. 3 ambulances, 2 firetrucks, and a metric butt ton of police on the scene. 4 wreckers showed up. One of the vehicles hauled away was a police car. I relaxed by watching some videos and plan to code a bit before playing some games today. Probably either Minecraft or WOW. Relaxing after last night's final draft completion which was once again a last minute deal. I need to stop doing that, hehe. |

So after 2 weeks in the desert at like 5% humidty and not running, I ran 2.2 miles this morning. 94% humidity. Holy crap, I felt like I was swimming in jello. I took the day off to clean and work on RO. So far I've done the cleaning part. I didn't go an exsentive cleaning, but the stuff no one cleaned before I moved in a few month ago. (ie: windows!).. than I vacuumed.. Big burger burn at lunch for a couple of people leaving our unit. We (our office) did pretty much everything: did the shopping, set up, prepared condiments for said food (burgers and bratwurst), cooked said food, ate drank and were rather merry, cleaned up and put everything away. I stayed up late (2PM, despite having told myself to go to bed early) to finish story mode of Pokemon Colosseum. I absolutely crushed the Deep Colosseum with my Espeon and Entei (they ended at levels 70 and 66, respectively).
Catching the Shadow Togetic proved difficult if only because it's only level 20 and I didn't dare attack it. I found that Nest Balls don't work properly in Colosseum, because you're supposed to get a 10x success rate for having a 50+ level advantage, but they kept failing even with the additional 2x for sleep. I threw a single Great Ball, with it nearly full health (Shadow Rush recoil being its only damage), and it being in normal condition, and I caught it easily. |

My dad wrote novels in the '90s but never got published. Hopefully your luck will be better than his.
