Too easy...smartest, for sure. I didn't care about being popular back then anyway, so why choose that now?

Smartest.

Nobody gives a shit about high school cliques after high school, but intelligence can get you jobs/college down the road ^_~

Well, being the smartest worked out for me just fine, so I'll stick with what worked. :)
Popularity doesn't get you anything [useful], anyway. Not in school, at least.

I was neither, although I did graduate in the top 10 of my class and was best known for never doing homework. School time was serious business...leisure time was anything after school. :P

Smartest. It worked well for me, so why change now?

Chances are if I had gone through with trying to be a cool kid, hanging with all the "cool" kids of my school, I'd be dead. There's a lot of gang activity here and all the "cool" kids were in on that, along with other questionable activities. I'd rather have a future and live than have no future and die of a gunshot cause I was drunk at age 15 and I badmouthed someone cause I thought my shit didn't stink.

I've been the smartest kid in school. It didn't help me in the slightest. No employer cares if you're smart, they want you to be good at handling people. I am getting sick of it. :<

Seeing as I'm close to being one of those options and miles away from being the other, I'm gonna have to say: Smartest. My high school is kinda weird though as there aren't really any recognizable cliques (although there are a couple, one being the ***hole boys who hang out at the top of the ramp beside the sports hall) people just hang out with their friends and that's it.

Hate to jump on an obvious bandwagon but of course...

Smartest. {insert-something-about-it-here}, so why change now?

Yeah. While I make a few dumb decisions and would like to talk to more people, going with smartest because it is fun coming up with solutions.

I preferred a little of both actually, although definitely leaning towards smartest :) I always wanted to be a fantasy author or video game translator or something growing up, but unfortunately I don't do much with writing anymore, not like in the late 90s or so...

Neither. I was the smartest in grade school, I had no social life and I was an outcast. When I went to HS I tried better to fit in. I at least wasn't as socially awkward (And I could have easily been the smartest had I worked for that goal, but I preferred not being outcast). It's easier in school to not be "The Nerd" at least in America, where for whatever reason such intelligence is frowned upon.

I wouldn't want to ever be the most popular. It's more work than being the smartest (and IMO nowhere near as fun).

I'd prefer to be smartest. Then again, I'm not the sort of person who seeks popularity.
