The random topic generator gave me this, "The best places to fish in New York". But I don't live in NY, so we're going with fishing. Do you like to fish? Fresh water? Salt water? Both?

I used to fish with my step dad long ago. (about 6 years ago) Nowadays I haven't fished in a long time but would like to do so sometime again with some family.

I've never fished.

Back in Michigan we used to laugh at the idiocy of the ice fishermen. They'd walk out onto the frozen lake in the dead of winter.

I used to fish with my dad when I was younger.

A few years ago, I went out on a boat with my nephews. I got nothing, but it was fun.

Trying to go on another fishing trip, but nothing concrete yet.

Used to do this with my father and little brother when we were small. My little brother once caught 2 fish at once. He pulled one small in and accidentally dipped it into the water again when close to the...uh, edge of the water. Then a bigger fish had tried to get the smaller one.

I used to fish every Summer at least once at my Grandparent's house. I never caught much. The only fish in Sarasota Bay were catfish (my favorite kind of fish-like-fish, actually), and I DID catch at least two in my life. But I was never really patient enough for fishing, so I'd get excited to fish and get bored in ten minutes when nothing happened.

We always used bacon for our bait, too. Might be why nothing ever bit into our line.
