Whoo! One of my songs finally appears

Yay for Live and Learn. But I'll give Touhou a fair listen....

Match 9: Hmmmmmm... Okay, well listening to Touhou, it's a good song. It's solid and enjoyable. I don't much care for the squealy parts at times, and I was never a HUGE fan of Touhou music, but it's a pretty good song. Really good in fact. Just one problem...

IT'S FACING FUCKING LIVE AND LEARN. Live and Learn wins, nuff said.

Match 10: I'm... not so sure I like either of these songs that much. The Pokemon one is kinda bland and boring for a boss theme, and R-Type is just calm and boring Synth. They're both ehhhh and just over all not that enjoyable to listen to. I guess I'll go with Pokemon though, cause at least it sounds like what it's supposed to be: A battle. R-Type is a game about flying around and shooting shit, right? Then why is there calm synth ladies opera-ing in the background? It doesn't fit.

I have yet to listen to any of them, except for having heard the R-Type song before. I will tell you that the first few YouTube comments really paint a picture about why this music is the way it is.

lol now I know how it feels to watch one of your favorite songs that you picked out lose easily. The biggest problem is no one even gives any reasons behind it xD. I'm the only one who gives reasoning behind my choices, everyone else is all "Well OBVIOUSLY, I mean this choice was so easy for me" which leads me to believe I have a shitty taste in music.

The choice is difficult. Mostly because I don't like of those four tracks.

So, Sonic Adventure 2 - Live and Learn vs Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom - Necrofantasia. I don't like neither of those, but I'll choose Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom - Necrofantasia just because that vocal in Sonic Adventure 2 - Live adds nothing.

And R-Type Delta - Fate vs Pokémon R/S/E - Team Aqua/Magma Boss Battle. I will choose Pokémon R/S/E - Team Aqua/Magma Boss Battle just because it sounds average... unlike R-Type Delta - Fate that sounds bad.

Match 11: Molgera Battle. Both are enjoyable to listen to, but I just love the flute in the Molgera Battle

Match 12: Magus Battle. Humorously, two big boss battles are the ones I vote for. This song is just beautiful, and is great for a "first disc boss" that you think is the big bad. Menacing and epic, it's truly beautiful. Castle Bleck is pretty awesome too, not gonna lie (I like clock-sounding ticks a lot), but I prefer Magus battle.

I simply love both tracks. Especially the Ice Palace. The ensuing boss battle was even more amazing. Castle Bleck's track was memorable, to say the least.

Ouch, both of these are hard. All four of the songs are good.

Match 11: After a second listen, Paper Mario - Ice Palace wins for me. It has this mood..

Match 12: Super Paper Mario - Castle Bleck marginally wins because of interesting beats and bassline.

Interesting how both matches are castle/palace themes vs. boss themes.

Ice Palace is just too... uh, a word that comes to mind is "rounded" somehow, so I guess that's what I have to say about that. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Molgera battle is my vote in 11.

Castle Bleck is pretty good, but nothing can beat the epic Chrono Trigger - Magus Battle.

Edit: Well, this makes BOTH matches tied at 3-3 right now. Intriguing!
