I just want something that would send feedback from a TV or to my computer screen (or even a handheld console, although I don't know how that could be done). The HD DVR you mentioned looks pretty good, but it also looks pretty expensive...and any TVs I'd use it for would be pretty old, not HD or even flatscreen.
