Match 27: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Miniboss. The SMB1 overworld theme was significantly faster on european PAL versions of the game, so the version in the video isn't as I remember it by nostalgia.. and ends up being worse than the Sonic theme.

Match 28: Final Fantasy VI - Terra's Theme. Touhou music is interesting, but I know I like Terra's theme better.

SMB is a classic but I'm trying to vote with my head instead of my heart. So Match 27 goes to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Miniboss.

As for Match 28, Terra wins that one. It's a cozy theme from my favorite FF game. Maybe a bit overplayed, though.

Underground from Yoshi's Island is good! Atmospheric for sure! A tiny bit repetitive, but I can totally hear the YI sound effects while listening to it, and that's great!
Unfortunately, I'm hugely nostalgic for the FFIV boss theme. I'm sorry, but a song like that just wins on every day.

Root Town Delta (Water Capital Mac Anu) is okay. I mean, it's. Okay. Yeah.
Kanto Champion Battle is an above average remix of an already good theme. Definite yes.

Kinda easy for me. The underground YI theme is nice, but I think the GBA is the better version. The FF one is great (and I finally found the FF song that is used for the culex battle in SMRPG!)

Fear Factory is a very good song! I enjoy the melody.
I like Pitch Black Intrusion more, though. It really sets the atmosphere of the whole game well and sounds really dynamic. I only wish it was a little longer.

The Genesis is.. lenghty and not all that interesting. Towards the end, it started looking promising, though.
Final Hours is a Majora's Mask song alright. It's not something particularly good.
Not voting for match 32.

Those two are clear winners in my book. The first one is really nice to listen to and the other really gives a feel for "the last hours" and is one of the best.
