Especially after you've loved to hate the Program Manager and File Manager.
The best screenshot is the one of the first Microsoft website. They literally had a picture of the webmaster standing by the webserver. Imagine that in modern times! |

♥3702 ✿4736 ★69 I used Firefox early enough that it was Mozilla Phoenix and was their attempt at a lightweight browser from mainstream Netscape... IE became unusable pretty quickly on my old Windows 98 machine thanks to my siblings. |

That kinda predates my browsing days then. It were Windows XP before I was poking around the internet. The world could always use more heroes! |

♥3705 ✿4736 ★69 Some of my earliest memories are of the internet, specifically playing online checkers on Prodigy... I wonder if that's a bad thing. |

You don't know the 0E bluescreen and the famous C:\con\con bug? You really missed out on something. |

Heh, today I went to a Price Chopper store that's been remodeling and they had new registers, but guess what they were running? Windows 98 (I suppose as a stopgap, they're using their old POS system until the new one is in place, which will most likely be Windows 7 based) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥3706 ✿4736 ★69 Posted by Danika Or perhaps the Windows 98 is the new system, and the old one was even older |

Posted by LilianaI guess I did then. I don't really know the internet before IE6 on XP. Although, there were still plenty of things back then that were exploitable. The world could always use more heroes! |

♥3709 ✿4736 ★69 Posted by GywallPosted by NicoleI even remember those days.. What about the IE filters that flipped your post upside down like a mirror? I think we now have CSS for that! But I won't demonstrate, as it's against the rules and all... I seem to recall Xkeeper being a big fan of them. |

Hmm, Although.. I don't think CSS can do all the things that the various IE filters could do. I remember there was a wavy effect that could be done. Kinda made it look like your post was drunk. The world could always use more heroes! |

I know of one that'll basically turn all tables and rows into some sort of flipping jigsaw puzzle. Why such CSS exists is beyond me in what actual purpose for a real website.

If they're trying for hits, they'd just need cat of the day. Plenty of daily visits. The world could always use more heroes! |

♥3724 ✿4736 ★69 Posted by Gywall But what if we make cat of the day spin around, we'll get huge success then! As well as a very dizzy kitty. |
