Working retail, like me, means you end up hating the holiday season :/ (although a nice thing is that I usually get one day off during the week and another during the weekend

My official job title is "Cashier", but I tend to be more a Self-Service till attendant. Although, a bit of Customer Services desk attendant is creeping in now.

I work on the checkouts of a supermarket. It's an alright job.

I'd like to work at a local grocery store since its within walking distance and because of its discounts if I recall. Man, it'd be nice to actually earn lots of money for a change. I could see myself doing various jobs there, even if its just packing lots of stuff.

Retail seems like a high-stress job to me. I'd take a retail job if I had to, but it's not what I want.

I could never work in food service, though. Not with all my allergies.

Retail's worst is the customers who often highlight how poorly educated they are. Inability to read simple things like "Maximum two per customer" with actions like trying to buy six. >_>

Ah, yes. "Express Lane, Limit 15 items" and someone unloads like 97 items. And I'm the one right behind them in line.

Also, for fuck's sake, it's 2013. Almost 2014. Stop paying for groceries by check. It slows everything down. Use cash or ask your bank for a debit card (most banks give you one anyway).
