Or what about the "slightly smaller gift" chain so some poor sucker has to unwrap like 12 boxes to get to some small present?

Posted by Gywall Do hat until you get to the point where you have a very small locked box with a combo lock on it. That lock's combo is a large 3 part math problem. When you open it it you find a note inside. That note is a cross word puzzle and an incomplete sentence. When you complete the puzzle (or enough of it if you can read between the lines) "🎁Your gift is under the couch. Have a nice day!😄" Some caveats on this. I would only do it with someone with a sense of humor, or someone you hate/are friendemys with. If you wanted to be an utter douchebag asshole you repeat this with the gift under the couch too. Also make it worth their while. If you give them a B&W photocopy of a 1 dollar bill or something in that vein expect to be killed on sight. (rightly so) See.. coal can be burned, so that can recover some value. Time can not be recovered. That's how Santa will screw the naughty at Xmas!
