Not many kids went trick or treating in the neighbourhood that I grew up in, which was a trailer park. Reason being, it was a bad area.

I used to go to my grandparents' neighbourhood instead.

I thought this was a joke. I still don't believe this in a way. I got an email from her mother. I thought it was spam. But I opened up the email anyway. Her mother told me that Taryn had passed away (that is the fourth person that I know that died this year). She also mentioned that she wasn't sure how Kaufka found out and that they don't know how she died, but Taryn had flu like symptoms and they found her locked inside her apartment.

Please extend to her friends in IRC and Kafuka our gratitude for their friendship. I know that it meant a lot to her.

I was suppose to see her this year, but wasn't able to because of money. She allowed me to stay with her twice when I went to PAX in 2012 and in 2013. We went to Mt. Rainer, all around Seattle, the zoo, and more together. The thing is, we only talked online, and for her to allow me to stay at your place on the very first day that we met, was very sweet of her. I have very found memories of her thanks to the experiences that we shared.

Taryn also helped to edit my second book and she's a character in my book series.

Still can't believe this.

I've had suicidal before, mostly when I was younger. Some of these feelings did surface again recently, but thankfully I thought them off. That's all we can do, fight through life.

She gave me three books (part of a series) in 2012. Taryn told me they were her favorite when she was younger and she wanted me to read them.
