This is why I want to put an actual CSS field with say, a modified Less parsing system, or something, and then disable the link tag.
I think instead of doing this we should be admins and just regulate who are allowed to use it. Maybe implement yet another badge or just limit it to staff.

I'm sorry for my irritability, I just couldn't part with my layout or the ability to make others like it. :P I'm only saying that I wouldn't mind the administrative overhead because that's all I'm limited to now since I can't code.

I'm outside around 20 to 30 second a day ! I go to university in a t-shirt when it's -30C outside ! :)
I go outside with a T-shirt too. But I also put on a jacket because I'm not a moron. :P

I do love the cold, but I'm not ignorant that I'm mortal and can get colds and other nasty shit. Also, bear traps will kill you.

The weather group I subscribe to has been saying that it's going to be foggy these last few days. I haven't seen any fog... but I sure as hell have been gassy. Leg fog, I guess. :/

I had a dream I was allowed to visit Bam Margera's house. I believed it was his house until I got there. I knew he wasn't going to be there, but when I got there it didn't look like a house he would have. Nevertheless, it was massive. I first met the "father", who did not look like his actual father. He was just along for the ride; he loved to race. Eventually I met some of the children. No girls, just boys. Then I met his mother, who turned out to be some weird pompous lady who loved to show off her art, which was building luminous foliage displays for museums. After she brought me to the garden area in the back yard, she showed me what looked like grassy areas whose blade tips glowed different colors within patches. There were stations throughout the garden where you could whip up yourself some Hot Cocoa and/or Coffee. After I went back inside, I explored the rest of the 25 or so rooms and areas of the house. I actually didn't see them all, because there were corridors and areas I didn't visit and explore.

I woke up soon thereafter.

That you can't click a video without it turning out to be something that 999 out of 1000 people disliked. (No like/dislike bar near video thumbnails)

Or, have a setting in your account that allows you to specify like/dislike ratio so Youtube won't show videos below that threshhold. Even if it's a pay feature I'd go for it.

Recommendations suck, too.

Also, Gywall, the fact that you're annoyed is YouTube's fault for making such a shitty interface. :P

I threatened a ban when he spewed all this garbage in IRC so he decided to make a story out of all this on the board. Quite an impressive display of one's deranged mind, I'd say. :P

Would YOU put a tilde on the end of a similarly negative sentence?
perhaps, as it means several things. In this case, it distinguishes the comment as snarkiness~

I believed that Halloween was a bad word when I was really young, because Wiener was a bad word in my household.

Outside my house.
The window on the far right is my room. To the right of the picture are two garages; one car and two car.

What you see when you walk in.
The banister in the foreground goes downstairs to five bedrooms and a bathroom. To the right is the living room and straight ahead is the dining area. To the left is the kitchen. Behind the banister is a loft area with a community computer and to the far off right is the hallway to my room, a bathroom, and two other rooms. Out the door there is the deck, where a barbecue grill sits. We use the hell outta that thing.

Kitchen.
Lots of cupboard space. Some good food is made here. And some bad stuff too... Through that door is the laundry room, which goes further to a bathroom and another smaller room. The laundry room also leads to the garage.

Living Room.
Hooked up to that TV right now is an Xbox 360 slim, a Wii, and a DVD player. (And receiver.) The white 360 hiding back there is banned from XBL, so I don't use it. Also, badass terrarium on the table.

Finally, my room. Queen bed atop a loft bed frame I built myself. The feircely glowing objects up in the top right corner are my old license plates. My rig consists of that frankentop, connected to the right screen, which is a Samsung 23". The other one is a 20" maybe? It's connected to my Acer netbook.

With a new message board comes a new community, with which also comes new features. This is a test announcement. So long as I'm up here flapping my... fingers, I might as well do something constructive with this time. So, welcome to Kafuka! All of us here in staff wishes you the best and we hope you all enjoy the time you spend here. We hope it brings back memories as well as create new and amazing ones!

Ciao!~

Kiyoshi: that layout looks much better. If anything, it could use less saturation and be more pastel-y... but I don't have complaints as of now.

Had another weird dream.

I found myself back in 7th grade for some dumb reason. I had learned that somehow I missed something that year and that they had to make me retake it. So, here I am, in 7th grade, sitting at the back of the classroom. I'm 26 years old and all the rest of these kids are preteens. Fucking embarrassing. At lunch though, I can't even tell you what they had, except it wasn't set up like a normal cafeteria. it was almost like a bar. If you can picture a bar, but the size of the room like a cafeteria, with nothing but white walls, that's how it looked. After one bite of my spanish rice, I woke up. :/

I share this sentiment. My computer almost committed seppuku when I tried to load that page. Perhaps since it varies per user (computer diversity) it should be something we ought to disable altogether in favor of [youtube] tags to allow us to properly limit links per page. The user would be able to specify a max amount allowed per page if they are having issues like CC and I are.

I'd suggest that the tag should link the youtube video's home as well as show the actual video. For links past the link limit, only show the link itself, so you can still access it.

So I'm working on a casemod for this spare Wii motherboard to raise a bit of money for myself. The original casing broke, as did the DVD drive. So far I've spent about $45 on legos for this, as well as another $10 for a de-soldering iron. The majority of the legos I have are still in my unused bucket, so I'm keeping a lot of the stuff I bought already.

So, here's what I have so far.

Used a 32x32 base board which will be cut down to size when finished. Will likely remove some of the plain clear bricks in favor of some orange flat singles, because I hope to be able to use these for internal lighting. They should fluoresce like a mofo in there. I'd also want to use some LED's to replace the ones found inside the DVD slot.

Heatsink hood removed. I'm going to revise the front of the hood portion to allow for better air flow, as well as enhance the aesthetics a bit.

Here are some of my concerns. First, I can't reach any of the buttons. I'll have to create a way to access them, perhaps by making a small switch bar that is hand-wired and soldered to the original switches. There's four total. Secondly, I'd need to make sure that there isn't too much overhead power loss from the cathode inverters, which draw ~3.7 watts. I should be okay there since there isn't a DVD drive at all. Thirdly, since the lamps are UV, I'm concerned that the light might mess with the IC's. It seems like it should be OK though, since they're meant to go inside PC's. Most of these sound like minor issues anyway, so we'll see how it goes.

Questions, comments, or suggestions? I'd love to hear them!

Yeah, I've already put it through it's heating tests. It was relatively cool to the touch after running for a while. It did get warm, but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary.

And yeah, this one has to use a hard drive. I might just get a Class 6 SD card to shove in there and just load a few games off of it instead.
