For Windows, mouse (with scroll wheel! this is important) > nipple > touchpad... however, I don't know if I could use OS X without a touchpad, I use the gestures a lot.
My netbook touchpad has gestures too, even for 2 or 3 fingers.
Nothing beats a mouse for me though. But what keyboards do you like most?

I love WinRAR and I used to love ARJ.
Copying a 15-diskette spanned archive from a friend, extracting it just to find a read error on disk #13, requiring the entire archive to be recreated, fun times...

The backup I did yesterday was 60 GB larger than the previous one, I really have to clean up all that pony stuff...

I once found a very old paper backup journal at a school I worked for, one line went like:
12-Jan-1990 - Next time we should use 5 diskettes for the weekly backup
