What's your opinion on cheesecake? Ice-cream? Pie?
Never really had cheesecake, but I do enjoy ice cream. Pie? It varies.

Posted by SquidEmpress
What desserts have you mixed before?
Not very many, honestly.

Posted by Archer
What about cheesecake pizza?
Now that's just beyond the pale.

As it's officially July 4 now, I'd like to wish a happy Blowing Shit Up Day to all of the other Americans on Kafuka.

If you want to try SMW with a partner again, I'm still around, just let me know.

Also, I can definitely vouch for Blaster Master being a bitch and a half. I haven't played even a little of it since I was a kid, but I remember barely getting anywhere. (And when I wasn't having my ass handed to me on a silver platter, I was getting lost as hell.)

Taking a not-so-brief break from Sly Cooper to play the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games. I'm still on the first one, primarily because HOLY FUCK do you need to collect a lot of bolts to get everything! Thankfully there's a fairly easy exploit for bolts that can be run, but it still only slightly takes away the sting of needing <430k bolts (if I recall correctly) still to get the Ultra Nanotech, the RYNO, and all of the gold weapons.

I finished the first Ratchet and Clank. That felt like it took forever, probably about as long as a runthrough of one of the later games and their Challenge Mode takes.

SPEAKING OF WHICH, time to graduate to the second game, which is probably the best game in the whole series.

Would you eat a sausage made entirely of chocolate?
i think there's a joke in here...

Is chocolate sausage even a thing?
Not that I know of? But I don't know everything, so, you know.

That is unacceptable. Don't you know? you're supposed to know everything.
Shit.

The joke is that it is like a chocolate cigar and since sometimes saysages use sheep intestines as natural casings, yeah.

So, is that disgusting to know? :P
I dunno, there's also some foods made partially of blood. Not human blood, as I almost said in here, mind you.

When I was a kid, I mostly gamed on a PC for my early years. I played Lemmings fairly extensively and though I was pretty decent at it -- I mean, not like I am now, but I kinda quit around the Menace homage level because it scared the hell out of me. I also had access to a family friend's NES, so I was able to play the Mario Bros. games, the first Legend of Zelda, and a few other games that are largely forgettable. I played Mega Man 3 when we rented it and an NES when staying in a motel or something like that.

By the time I was five or six, we owned a Sega Genesis. I played a few Sonic games on there, but also some other stuff like Vectorman, but in general, mostly just platforming games. In the later 90s, we got hold of an N64. I played Banjo-Kazooie, for starters, and a lot of other games -- probably more that I remember on that system than most others. I got a Game Boy Color a year or so later as a Christmas gift with the then new Pokemon Yellow. We got a PS2 the day it came out, and it definitely has since ended up being my favorite console yet. We had a GameCube for a while, then my brother moved out and took it with him.

I have since picked up the GameCube again, and got a PS3, a DS Lite, and a 3DS. Yes, I also had a GBA at some point, and still do now, but I can't entirely remember when. Also, you know, PC gaming. That's just sort of been a constant, but I haven't ever had a gaming PC.

Oh yeah, Spanish Morcia, Mexican Moronga, and German Bludwurst.

Have you ever eaten blood sausage? :P
Nah. I just know about it because I know about a lot of really weird shit.

If anyone's been curious as to where I've been: I'm on a not-very-good computer until my main one gets returned from the repair shop, and I've been kind of sick. Still am a little, but I'm getting way better.

Origin of your username?
I... thought I'd explained this one before, but in case I haven't:

It comes from the card game Magic: The Gathering, and refers to the process of assimilating a being into the plane of Phyrexia. You can read up more about that place over here

Posted by SquidEmpress
Are there any Phyresian Physics?
I don't really know.

Posted by skyluigi
Does "Phyresis" sound like a medical condition to you?
Considering that when Phyrexia's main visual theme isn't "cyborg zombies" it's medical horror, FUNNY YOU SHOULD MENTION THAT

"Phyresis" does, however, originate from "phthisis," which is an old name for tuberculosis.

Posted by CherryBunny
What's the strangest sounding medical drug you've heard of?
Jeez, I'll be honest, most of them are kinda tied. How many Xes and Zs can you cram into a "name" before it makes no sense whatsoever?

Bizarre Adventure? This should be a hack of Super Star so that way you can call a helper using your ability and it can be your Stand. Har har.

However, the concept seems pretty neat, if only because of how much it would probably throw me off to not be able to float. That being a huge part of Kirby, I do it ALL THE TIME (and get frustrated a lot nowadays by it being limited in Kirby 64)

Adel nods to Bel and accepts his handshake. He's already introduced himself, and he does not bother with doing so again.

"So, at the same time, it kinda sounds like we might not ever get back here," Adel notes. "Unless all rifts that aren't here lead to this place, and only those here lead elsewhere."

Seemingly contrived, but an End of Time-like setup was not THAT infeasible, right?

So you play Magic?

Would you like to buy some of my cards? :3
Right now I'm saving up for a PC. Maybe if there's anything left after I get that, because, to be fair, there is a pretty solid amount of stuff I want for my collection and for my four Commander/EDH decks. (I guess five, actually, since I have two main variants on UBR that I want to build.)

Wouldn't a nuke defeat everyone?
That would depend a lot on where you dropped it.

Would you want to become the Leader of Isle Delfino?
Hmmm. People who mistook Shadow Mario for the real deal definitely need decent leadership to poke them in the eye once in a while when they're dumb, but at the same time, I don't really trust my leadership skills and restraint enough to not just let them destroy themselves. This is the worst game of SimCity ever, how am I ever gonna get a megalopolis by being a complete dick?!

Posted by skyluigi
What would you do if I turned you into a duck?
Quack a few times. Eat some bread. You know, duck things. Maybe be weighed against a woman to see if she's a witch or not.

Windows XP still viable for gaming? ;)
Hope you like old games! The kind that come on just enough 3.5" floppies to make you glad you're not using 5.25-inchers, but more than enough to make you think "THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!"

And definitely some things on CD. A lot of things on CD. Okay, honestly, probably mostly things on CD or even DVD. Actually, I have no idea about the state of Windows XP. I suppose if a version for 64-bit computers existed especially, you could do a pretty decent amount.

Mediocre.

Do you think cats and bunnies are cute?
Yeah, they're pretty cute. I mean, I do have dogs instead of cats, mostly because, as cute as cats are, I just kinda prefer the company of dogs. Usually.

Are you a fan of Paramore? ^_^
I haven't really listened to them. I have heard maybe one or two of their songs.

But considering that I listen to things like this, I suppose that's not surprising. However, I distinctly remember them not being that bad.
