I got married in 2011, so I guess my goal is to keep my wife happy and stay married?  2011 wasn't a bad year. Got a wife and a cat!
In all seriousness, probably going to be a lot like 2011, except the date I write on the few checks I need to make out, like to my borough for the yearly trash collection, or my sewer bills (the rest I pay online). |

33 °F (1 °C) right now. We have had about 6" of snow total this year so far, including one freak storm in mid-October that gave us 4" of it. Take that one out and it's been a freakishly warm and rainy winter. Even the October storm's snow melted in about a day. There's a small coating of dust that's been lingering because it got cold this week, but it'll be near 50 again soon enough. |

I don't have a day job. I work overnights, from the comfort of my house. Tech support stuff (the kind of thing where you call in to a company for support and someone can't figure out the issue and makes a trouble ticket, I fix those trouble tickets). |

My biggest work-in-progress lately has been my Jeep. Started with doing some small stuff, turned into rust repair & more big things. I have the seats and carpet out and rustproofed the floor, I need to install the U-Joints on the way and some other stuff, and it'll be ready for winter, if it comes.
I finished my 300M (for now but hopefully for good). Replaced the radiator and flushed the power steering system. Should last another 185,000 miles now. Also have other house projects. Still need to tile my kitchen bay window but now it's leaking so I may just replace it instead. Need to finish installing the hot water baseboard in my bathroom. Clean my basement. Some other things that are then minor compared to those projects. |

Posted by BladesGood news for you, less wear on the glow plugs! It's somewhat more seasonable today, high of 40°F (so it's only about 10°F warmer than usual instead of 25 or so). Wednesday it will probably be around 50° again, though. |

What's wrong with quality? The posts have an "I1" feel to them. It's relaxed, fun and nobody's really bitching about the board being like IRC, which it always was.
Yeah, I used to be SUPAR POST NAZI but I grew up. We used to have fun, then it became a chore. I enjoy when the board is more relaxed and has fun stuff even if it IS Robocop, who would totally lose to the Terminator. |

I'd like a new video card but I don't even game on my PC a fraction what I used to. My system's fairly old but my CPU is still rockin' the house!
Antec Nine Hundred (version 1), powered by a Mushkin 550w modular PS: Core2Quad Q6600 @ 3.0GHz 6GB RAM nVidia GTS 8800 Ultra 320 OCed to 600 core, 875 RAM, 1600 shader WD 500GB SATA2 Seagate 1.5TB SATA2 NEC PATA DVD-R and Lite-On SATA DVD-R I did build 2 other systems in 2011, both Atom/Ion HTPCs. The downstairs one is a mini-ITX and the upstairs one is one of those micro Foxconns that is about as big as a router. |
