"~" merely expresses the lingering afterthought which can never be "punctuated", much like "..." or other impoverished styntextual mannerisms~ |

the bouganvalia, the rays of light which hang in the air of a lazy afternoon, a loft where I can shut out the world and a sliver of the ocean which looks tremendous at sunrise/sunset. the beach is pretty at full moon, the bioluminescent tides and the inviting new moon.
gardenia and freesia to bloom in the coming season, fresh-cut tuberoses and delicious produce and pastries every week, the pomegranate/lime/fig trees and the ocean-side bike roads which go on for miles and the local coffee shop with their blueberry muffins and delicious quiche and pies plus i dont have to pay for it |

Posted by MesiaPosted by GreyMaria One might say the financial crises, unemployment, foreclosures et al are also a lack of bootstraps. If inner-city kids just had strength of will they wouldn't be stuck in poverty (or jails) for generation upon generation. Resources and support for mental disorders aren't really a given outside of a rapidly-diminishing middle class, and I've encountered lots of (state) psychiatrists and psychologists who'll make a diagnosis without even trying to communicate with me, saying that "my gestures and posture" are sufficient to make a diagnosis. There's obviously a huge class factor not to mention that the proper medications can be inaccessible--incidentally when you're on welfare you might notice that trendy branded drugs are subsidized and time-tested (and often much less harmful) generics are not, but still cost too much to afford out of pocket. As for me, I've gone through ptsd diagnoses to major depressive to a more helpful psychiatrist who really helped with fatigue concentration and anxiety issues in conjunction with an underlying neurological disorder. |

yesterday i went to the waters and got a yellow rice pilaf mac and cheese blackberry yogurt and a green tea. i was completely exhausted and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly done. the girls who work there are infinitely nice and the ambiance is wonderful so I go there a lot. it's a few meters from the beach and a really nice smoothie place/cafe and a delicious restaurant which primarily uses locally-sourced ingredients.
there was a cute boy working there who goes to the same high school I went to, and he works there full time and does competitive swimming and is taking a pretty heavy course load..kids these days are amazing--anyways i almost passed out in the store so he helped me get back home safely. people are so nice. |

Posted by GywallPosted by Kiyoshi there are a bunch of novel painkillers and sometimes you just have to go through the rigmarole of trying out every narcotic on the market--it is a tiring ordeal but i wish you the best. Usually I think you start out with vicodin but vicuprofen usually works better for joint pain in my experience. If you can afford it, pregabalin seems to work quite well, especially in conjunction with other medications (i've heard it works excellently with aleve). Otherwise is a steroid injection or some sort of pain-deadening nerve blockade been suggested or is it applicable? Tramadol is the norm these days for moderate~severe pain as it's not in the chemical class of opiates--it is quite an odd drug but it works well for some people. Tapentadol is like super-tramadol but my doctor is wary of it since it is scheduled and has an opiate component apparently--even though I already take morphine. Well he's not a bad guy, and I can understand his restraint. If the pain is really bad, you'll probably need some opiates proper like oxycodone or morphine--or maybe just a dilaudid iv once in a blue moon if the pain is intolerable. This isn't quite just joint pain but I have chronic neck pain along with a central nerve disorder which is sort of painful all the time. My quality of life is definitely by the grace of opium and modern medicine. e1: alternative solution: 420 smoke weed erryday e2: hilarious side comment but my anesthesiologist studies thc and suggested marijuana (well, synthetic thc specifically) himself |

Posted by Haz I used to think this but even though I'm less than 120lbs now, I guess I might be a bit flabby in some places. Mostly the lack of upper body exercise has been causing me a lot of problems so being too skinny can be shit too. i can't grasp eating as a necessity, although stuff like cycling and olympic lifting is compelling enough to make me want to go outside--but if I think about it you don't really need a lifting cage/bench for olympic events do you, and you can do pullups on rafters. I sort of like going to the Y, and taking the bus, and biking around town, so I think I'll continue with things as normal. I think I inherited a analog canon rebel dslr so I'd like to take some pictures to post around here! In the 10 or so years I've lived off the coast, I've always felt ambivalent and barely went to the beach or felt the ocean breeze. I missed out on adolescence because of my disability so I guess I just want to live--and get botox and look p moe. I'm conflicted because eye shadows are sort of neat but the forehead lines from stress have to go, no question. The biking and powerlifting (and potentially yoga) are all to help me with my aerobics since I want to be a gymnast. quote="Haz" id="3570"] Posted by KiyoshiI'll be dead by then.Posted by HazThis may change a lot by the time you are nearing your thirties. can we do a double suicide together haz i'm not sure i want to live more than 8 years more let's do this great gatsby style, with no expense spared.
