Are we talking popcorn shrimps or the shrimps with the little tails still on them. Cocktail sauce or tartar sauce
Either way, probably at least 20, I dunno. I'll let you know if I find the threshold. Lord knows I've tried. |

Can I be a Froakie?
I have a giant stuffed Tepig. It's SO CUTE AND BIG AND HAPPY LOOKING AND HUGGABLE AND ALSFKDJSGKLJALJGKLEJBKDL! That has nothing at all to do with my next question, which is: What's your favorite handheld game system of all time? |

What if you put cat ears on Alex Trebek?
One time I was in a corn maze in Kansas and I met some kid who was wearing a Pokémon shirt. I tried to strike up a conversation and we talked about how much we liked the game and a few of our favorite Pokémon + types. He asked who my "first guy" was and I had no idea what he meant by that. He had to go before he got a chance to explain, so we ended up parting ways. I was already in another part of the corn maze when it occurred to me that he meant "starting Pokémon", so I yelled out "I PICKED SQUIRTLE!!!" hoping he would hear. My parents got mad at me for embarrassingly yelling as loud as I could about Pokémon in public. That has nothing at all to do with my next question, which is: Do you plan on continuing Wheel of Fortune anytime soon? |

Have you disappeared from Kafuka right after dragging me here? ;;
One time I played mini-golf with my family when I was like 12. I ended up beating everyone, including my parents, including my mom by like 2 strokes. I gloated a bunch on the car ride back. My parents never took me to play mini-golf again. That has nothing at all to do with my next question, which is: Who's your favorite Pokémon starter (any gen)? |

Posted by DanikaI dunno what this means, I think I'm either too young or too normie ;; Posted by ThieppyIt being exactly 20 is a coincidence. As for why my 20th is the same as the default, I added it just in case I change my default avatar at some point but still occasionally wanna use the Honekoneko cuddly avatar. Posted by K.T.B.I've, uh, technically never taken any high school classes — I was illegally and haphazardly homeschooled by my parents with no real long-term plan. I've had to fill the gaps in what I wasn't taught with lots and lots of reading (bless the internet, bless libraries). That said, I've always been interested in history, particularly U.S. history, and I actually chose to read A People's History of the United States just 'cause I wanted to |

I'm playing Super Mario Bros. 2 again because I am a basic bitch. Also because I haven't actually played through it properly in yeaaaaaaaaars — I did a Speed Run Race of it with some friends of mine back in 2014 but it's hard to get a good impression of a game when you're pressured to play it as fast as you can The last time I played through it all the way without warps was seriously I think 2001 or something.
It made me realize that Wart is also a good boss, he's just kind of silly and adorable. Mario 2 in general doesn't get enough love. It's a shame Nintendo never really explored that gameplay style again, it feels really underexplored... but then I feel that way about Zelda 2, too, so... |

I had a dream last night that I played Oracle of Seasons
This has led to me kind of wanting to replay the Oracles games. I used to kind of dismiss them because I liked Link's Awakening way more, but I haven't given them an honest shot in like 6 years so now I'm wondering how I'd feel about them today. I liked Seasons okay even if the dungeon design was a little uneven, but Ages I kind of started to hate about halfway through. I don't actually really care for the locked in puzzle overworld design that the game adopts right after (or before?) Skull Dungeon; I just don't find it very fun and I think the world switching mechanic was done in more clever ways in ALTTP. Plus the whole game's atmosphere just feels kinda dull and depressing, I guess. Link's Awakening was bright and colorful and beautiful, and every new idea it had felt fresh even if there's the occasional silly mechanic (the horseheads in Face Shrine come to mind). To be fair there's a lotta really cool stuff in OoA like the Switch Hook, but yeah Wow this post went on a little while huh |

Yes. I think our cat's idea of fun is getting in front of our TV and just sitting there while I'm trying to play a game |

Not a single person in our apartment watches sports at all, unfortunately.
In fact, the person who's probably watched the most sports is... me, back when I used to watch basketball occasionally. But I don't think I've watched a single game of basketball since 2011 or 2012 or so... Last time I still lived with my parents they were in a phase where they were really into baseball, but I couldn't get into it and I think that phase is over by now. I think the extent of my interest in sports these days is I'd like to play a couple, like tennis I think would be fun. But I don't really get much out of watching sports, or statistics or anything like that. Except this article. That article is great. |

Oh, yeah, sometime soon I'd like to give The Lost Levels another shot — probably in the form of playing SMB2j on an emulator, actually. I haven't played through it at all since 2004, and even back then I think I savestated like crazy, so it doesn't even really count.
I think Super Mario Bros. 3 is my favorite of the NES trilogy (+ World). Super Mario World might be a little easier for me to just pick up and play because it's a bit easier, but once I get into SMB3 I think I find that I enjoy it more. (Random aside: When I think of the "NES trilogy" of Mario games my mind tends to drift towards SMB1-3US, but also Lost Levels and World. So that's an "NES trilogy" that consists of 5 games, one of which is an SNES game ) |
