Turbo Express Portable was the best hand held system, imo. It used the exact same game cards as the TG16. No need to buy a different copy for on the road! ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

I agree, the original three (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) were far superior to the newer ones. Yeah, the newer ones have the flashy effects, and my fav character (Qui-Gon Jinn), but imo that still doesn't beat the originals. Especially looking at the fact the original three were made in the late 70s, early 80s, they did a phenominal job with telling the story as well as the effects. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! "A phenomenon blinks! A suicidal arrogance initializes a code across her assuming steer. The unchanged algebra thirsts for a fountain. Armor reconciles a dense muck. The coast extends into swords."
I'd have to agree...pretty random. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

Despite the proper driving tests, I'm still amazed at the amount of idiots that don't seem to remember any of it in the state of North Carolina. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

Been quite awhile since we went on vacation. Myrtle Beach was the location, and it was pretty awesome. Until I fell asleep on the hammock and got a wicked sun burn. lol ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

Humm...now that you've got me thinking about it, I don't think I've ever "actually won" anything. >.> I've queued for an upgrade to first class on a flight to Tokyo and got it, if that counts? ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! I'm jumping on the writing bandwagon as well. My sensei has been on my case for years to keep a training journal, but alas...it has never happened. Writing is also sort of part of my job; I have to write annual performance reports on all the people I supervise. However, I'm not entirely sure that this is classified as writing because even through they are a collection of statements, the structure and everything about them is just not proper writing. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! I have not. And never needed to either.

I was neither, although I did graduate in the top 10 of my class and was best known for never doing homework. If it's something that needs discussed, I call them. One word answers or replies, text. Unless I'm at work, I'm not the best at replying to emails. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

Also not personally, but while riding with a friend.
It was quite a long time ago, almost 20 years. I was hanging with a friend while he purchased a new car, spent the day riding around visiting people. Later that night we were headed back home on one of those desolate country roads in the middle of nowhere. One of the front tire rods snapped and we went into a ditch at 55mph. Car flipped over, was dirt and crap flying everywhere. My seatbelt didn't lock up right away and instead, my face went flying forward and hit the airbag cover right as it opened. It was like being uppercutted by a pro heavy weight boxer. We managed to get out of the vehicle, and then I noticed something wasn't quite right...it wasn't raining, yet my shirt felt wet. Yeah, bloody face. Luckily, another car was coming up the road and was able to contact emergency services (remember, this was back before everyone in the world had a cellular phone). My face was cut up pretty bad, since I wore glasses back then. The lenses dug deep into my face from the impact of the airbag cover, as well as the burns from the bag itself inflating in my face. The cover broke my nose when it opened and I was bruised up pretty good from the general 'smash to the face.' I spent a night in the hospital and got cleaned up. Went home with only my shoes since everything else I was wearing was covered in blood that was dripping from my face. My buddy's safety belt worked just fine, and he came out unscathed. We both got a nice settlement from the vehicle manufacturer due to it being a brand new vehicle and something as crucial as a tire rod snapping for no good reason, as well as the faulty lock on the passenger safety belt. In the end, he got a brand new vehicle, that was paid for, and I got a nice lump of cash and had the medical bills from that incident fully paid for. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! Even though I'm married, we have quite a bit of away time from each other. I get stuck with 4-6 month deployments, and she's on the road during the week most of the time. I guess you can say we have a "weekend marriage" going on. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |
