I seem to recall using 50ppp or 100ppp in ye Acmlm's past- but for the longest time now I just use 20ppp, so I can "fit in" with the "crowd".

Then that means April's gonna have to be SMB3, then. Doesn't it?

Or maybe SMB1? I think we're going backwards...

Normally I'd look up whether SMB2j or SMB2us came out first just to make sure, but I don't feel like it.

Doki Doki Panic: July 10, 1987
SMB2j: June 3, 1986

By a long shot.. it's 2J ;) (SMB1: September 13, 1985)

I figured it would be something like that, but sometimes history is unexpected. :P

If tau catches on then tau day will overshadow my birthday, so π forever!

Though my favorite transcendental number is e, because it still seems so baffling that it exists.

What'd you call a diabolical prank?

I'd call it a diabolical prank, I guess *shot*

If you had your choice of automobiles, what would you choose?

Having a car would be a huge pain in the part of the city I live in... :P

But I'd probably go with something like the Tesla Roadster, electric cars are pretty cool. (I'll assume I also get a parking space with a power cord too :P)
Posted by Emuz
Also do you have any movies to recommend? :)

I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time pretty recently and thought it was good... but most people have probably seen that, so it's not worth recommending...

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is pretty good... kind of hipster-y, since it is a Wes Anderson movie and all. (Guess who introduced me to this movie :P )

How do you ask questions in space if you can't BREATHE?

Space helmet, radio waves?

I mean, it's hardly like I'm speaking here. :P

It is actually possible to not have a car in America?

If you live in one of a few cities, mostly in the Northeast, yes. Otherwise, no. :P

Space helmet, radio waves?
You do know that sound can't travel without an atmosphere, right?

EDIT: Markup flub.

Um, yes- that's what the radio waves are for...

Oh wow, impressive- I didn't realize lynx was full-featured enough to work on a modern website, though I suppose anything has to support the basic POST functionality.

If you were to pick an OS to resurrect, what would it be? (This can include classic versions of Windows, Unix whatever)

Good question actually. I think it would be pretty cool to see a modern Windows with the old Program Manager, though, like Windows NT 3.51. With some modern features, like a search function, it could actually work pretty well.

Isn't that called... Windows 8?! *dramatic tone*

It actually works surprisingly well as a taste combination. I mean, it's not for everyone, but it's not blatantly wrong like, say, chocolate sauce would have been.
I know people that use pickle relish as an ingredient in their chili. It's not that absurd of a combination.

Well, I hadn't heard of it before :P

Meanwhile, chocolate sounds less weird to me, since it is occasionally used in savory Mexican dishes. :P

Posted this from .Net, in a pretty raw kind of way. Ask me how.

I'm guessing something around the lines of sending raw telnet commands to the server?

You can play with Microsoft Bob in Windows 8 too. It's better than Metro.

Wouldn't you need 32-bit Windows 8 for that? Since I assume Bob is 16-bit...

EDIT: 2600 posts- challenge mode, post from an Atari 2600 :P
