Since people only seem to care when I stream my Randlockes... What are your thoughts on me revisiting previous generations with new shuffles? |

I started playing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
I'm about six and a half hours in, just getting to Slateport City. My team is between levels 17 and 20, ignoring my freshly caught Tentacool. The team is: Sly, the level 17 Zigzagoon Boggy, the level 20 Marshtomp Sybil, the level 20 Taillow Duchess, the level 19 Mightyena Cthulhu, the level 5 Tentacool My sixth slot is reserved for Sableye, which will probably be nicknamed "Rupee" or something. I need the Mach Bike before I can get to where it nests in Granite Cave. Really loving this remake so far. They took everything great about Ruby and Sapphire and improved on it incredibly. |

While I can't say that I was ever really close with her. Hell, I rarely ever chatted with her.
I wasn't expecting to check Twitter and see  Emuz tweeting about her passing. This completely blindsided me. I can't help but be curious about what happened to her, as detestably morbid as that sounds. |

Forgot to update my Alpha Sapphire progress before I went to sleep last night.
I'm sitting in Lavaridge Town, just before the gym with the following for my team: Boggy (Swampert, 36) Sly (Linoone, 33) Sybil (Swellow, 35) Krillin (Machamp, 33) Cthulhu (Tentacruel, 33) RupeeGremlin (Sableye, 35) I made Phy repay me for the Dawn Stone and Froakie by evolving my Machoke. |

I just got Windows installed on my new computer, and I can't figure out why my HDMI sound isn't recognized by my sound devices.
Does it have something to do with the fact I'm displaying through my graphics card's HDMI port? |

I have a GeForce 970 card. I don't have a proper driver yet, so that might affect things. |

Yep. The NVIDIA driver is what I needed to get my sound working through the TV.
Now I have another problem: My network adapter takes forever to establish a connection, and has absolute shit for bandwidth capability. What the fuck? EDIT: It may be worth noting that the wireless adapter hardly gets a signal from the router not five feet away, and doesn't even pick up a signal from the router upstairs that we actually use. Now the fucking thing won't even connect on ethernet. I'm posting from the laptop, by the way. |

The router is fine. The laptop gets perfect signal and is within three feet of the desktop. |

It's an integrated Intel NIC. I just attached the WiFi antenna and connected wirelessly and I'm getting speeds the laptop is getting.
I don't trust the ethernet to try it again. |

I know. Which is all kinds of fucked up.
Now my secondary hard drive (a WD 2TB Green drive) won't show up in Windows or BIOS. What am I doing wrong with this machine? Turns out the connector from the power supply was the issue. Now things are good. |

Since I finally have things set up nice and proper on the desktop, I figured I would stress test a few things.
I tested how Desmume handles Pokemon Platinum, Black, and Black 2 to see if I could feasibly stream them for my randlockes. After some tinkering to deal with some intermittent lag in B/2 I got them playing at a smooth 60fps. I then decided to try running Risk of Rain since it ran like shit on the laptop. I didn't play long enough to get a lot of shit exploding at once on screen, but I was able to pull a steady 60 just dicking around level 1. All in all, I'm very satisfied. |

I can try with Assassin's Creed Unity, since it's my newest by release game. But it's badly optimizaed too. I'll find something. |

I decided that I would start using the PPSSPP emulator and bring in my saves from my PSP memory card. Everything works all fine and dandilly except that I forgot that the Prometheus CFW fucks with save data for Final Fantasy II and I was trying to convert my save back to normal, but I seem to have screwed something up on my PSP.
What happened is that I used Hellcat's Recovery to roll back to 5.33 CFW and upgrade to 6.60 OFW to patch into 6.60 Pro-b10, which has worked just fine in the past. Now all that happens when I try to boot into anything in Pro-b10, all I get is a never ending black screen. I don't know what I did wrong, and I can't run the recovery again because my firmware won't allow me to launch it. Can someone either convert my save for me or help me fix my fuck up? I don't have a Pandora battery, so that option is out. I only care about the save because of the crazy amount of effort I put into it, I couldn't care less about the PSP since I can emulate it perfectly. |

Been playing Valdis Story: Abyssal City.
Progress Stats Skills I decided I would pick this up since I enjoyed watching raocow's LP of it where he ragequit from building his character improperly. He was trying to play a Jack-of-all-trades build, but the game doesn't give you enough points to be anything other than a specialized build. That's why I have an unused skill point. I don't know where to put it since I can't access my last three warrior skills. I kinda wish I could figure out where I have to go... I need to collect the parts of the Diving Key for Sezzi. I also need to find my way to the area that houses the lightning magic to fix the mana heater in Ishk. I'm not saying the game is directionless, I'm just saying I'm kinda shit at bumbling around. |
